GamesBoy316
How are Rockstar fanboys even a thing still? They need to admit that Rockstar became greedy, the story isn't all that great, there really isn't any replay value, and that the game is focused on GTA Online, and not Singleplayer. Will you idiots stop saying that the game is focused on MP, even though both modes are COMPLETELY F*CKING BROKEN?! Yes, Crapstar became greedy, I can't deny that. But saying that the game is Online-focused, even though that MP is FAR MORE BROKEN AND FLAWED THAN SINGLE PLAYER makes you look like a complete utter moron. How about you try Online for once, and see how buggy this sh*t is? Its far WORSE than SP, and that's a fact, or at least on the PS3 version. Ah. So you think I didn't play online at all? Idiot, don't judge people by posts. I played GTA Online. Also, you just said both modes are broken, so the rest of your post is stupid and makes no sense. You keep calling Rockstar names, but you're being like one of the fanboys that defend sh*t to the death. Also, it's a fact that Rockstar pays attention more to GTA Online. All the updates so far were centered to GTA Online. Edited July 6, 2015 by GamesBoy316 theGTAking101, Killerman29 and LordRaijin

ten-a-penny
Come back when you DO play them, thanks. Prison Break Finale is still unplayable even after over-3-f*cking-months. Please explain. The Heists Patch made this game even worse. Back before its just 3 minutes at most and you're set. Now it takes 5 f*cking minutes just to get in a f*cking INVITE ONLY lobby. Add another 2 frigging minutes just for that stupid animation to end so that you can finally take over your character. Morality: Online is sh*t, WAY SH*TTIER THAN SP. So stop saying that Dumbass-star cares only about MP. But then why does Online get all the updates? And why is EVERY (yes, all of them) newswire post about Online? Do you know the last time they even aknowledged SP? All they talk about, ever, is ON. LINE. Bah! The only update that didn't get any SP stuff was the Heists update. What do we get that SP don't have? Reskinned clothing. That's right. CLOTHING. Such replay value, much action with da clothes, wow. How are Rockstar fanboys even a thing still? In Skyrim I use bows from a distance, then hide if I'm spotted. In SA I go in guns blazing. In V I take cover and do it smart. In Online I snipe people from afar, then gun blaze it later if its safe. Now tell me if I can suggest any FR activity other than stunting, which is only possible in MP.

Again, this is all my opinion. Yeah, pretty much this. I mean, I had my fun with IV... the swingset glitch, shoving cars off that ledge near the docks so they'd explode when they hit the ground, plowing through traffic with the bus at Star Junction over and over and over... but that game really put the brakes on the freedom of the GTA series. People say V is restrictive, but man, they must really be in denial about how little there was to do in IV, and how almost everything you COULD do was bogged down by the weight of "realism". They seem to forgot just how much of a pain in the ass it was to play thanks to the incredibly clunky on-foot controls, the god-awful cover system that rarely worked right, and the fun-killing driving physics. I mean, GTA V still has sh*tty on-foot controls, the cover system still isn't all that great, and the vehicle physics leave a lot to be desired, but man, I find it hard to believe than anybody could really prefer IV over V when it comes to overall fun factor. @ten-a-penny I wish it had either a faster fire rate or no overheating to compensate for the low fire rate. They fixed it for V, it's a pain in the ass to hit anything with, but it's hilarious to park it outside of Ammunation with the guns aimed at the doorway while someone is inside shopping. Well, it used to be, at least... before the helicopter radar icon was added. CanUplsStopThat and Dangerous and sad

Well, it used to be, at least... before the helicopter radar icon was added. No IV was fun if you made it fun. If you lacked creativity and such you'd get bored. There were so many glitches, interior's, secret cars, etc etc. Especially in FM you could go into the majestic hotel and have players try to storm in taking the turf, while you/friends defended the place. IV shooting plus cover was great. Cover always worked for other players mostly so i don't see the problem there, unless you didn't know the basic essentials of how to take cover properly. You cant have limbs out were they can be shot. Having shootout madness at the airport or going into the museum for a battle either way IV was extemely fun. In V everything is catered and handed over to you, which not only is bad. But Everything else is bad aswell. In IV there were no restrictions, V/Online is where everything is restricted. Want interiors? Nope, Locked Want good shooting physics? Nope Want to have fun? Nope Everything is boring in V, you can't even create your own fun because there's literally NOTHING TO DO. R* messed up trying to turn this into a mmo. It should've been more like SA -MP / IV V was a big hype fest filled with dissapoontment, and restrictions. I hope the IV team makes VI. Nothing new for GTA V, all the attention is towards GTA Online right now. If Rockstar releases the Story Mode DLC, then maybe, the game will be alive again. Don't forget the fact that there's big games coming out later this year. Rockstar messed up by not showing a bit of footage or even just an announcement at E3. V12599
I think the Online is not that bad as some people portray it. Yeah, I don't play it that much as I have before, but that's because I don't have any "friends" or hardcore Crew-members. Sniping people from afar, or getting easy-money during survival is fun (with the correct people of course). The only thing that something pisses me off is that you join randomly a "server". Sometimes you join in a full party, wich is good and is something I want, and other times you switch them 4 times, and at the 5th time, you'll get connection problem? And there's also no filter. It's not really "dead", you can consider IV online as dead, or something that is dying. EDIT: beside of some grammar corrections, the Singleplayer is still awesome and beautiful. The atmosphere is just stunning, how can this get boring? Edited July 7, 2015 by V12599

Please save us from this terrible V that should be forgotten.......... You said that V is too much restricted, you try Online. Want to have fun playing as a Lost biker? Nope, the Daemon and Hexer are too rare + Thanks to Rockstar's No Fun Allowed policy, we can't have the Lost Slamvan. Want to play as a cop? What's that? You can't store cop cars neither you can't obtain the cop outfit. Want to have a normal-looking van AKA normal Burrito? BLACKLIST IT! You can't wear certain clothes together. I'm pretty sure girls and women in RL can wear long jeans with knee-high boots. Can you do this in Online? "go eat a dick!". Yet males can wear the ankle-level boots with skinny jeans. Blasphemy! Hopefully I said it right And didn't they said they won't patch harmless bugs? My ass, EVERY fun glitch-that-don't-harm-anyone has been fixed. Leaving Godmode on all platforms ruining people's fun. Moral of the story: Online is FAR more restricted and buggy than V and SA combined.
fridaynightscream
Hell no, it isn't dead! It's been out for almost 2 years, and I still play it. I still have fun messing around in Single Player as Micheal, Trevor, and Franklin, and my two GTA Online characters that I switch between. I actually never beat the game on PS4. I beat it in less than a week on Xbox 360, and I liked the story, but I have no desire to play through it again, even after 2 years. I mean, the story of the game is good, and I love how real the cutscenes feel, but well, I started to play through the missions, and the story just isn't as fun the 2nd time as it was the first time. I do intend on playing through it all the way again someday, but probably not until, about a month or so before GTA VI. I am predicting that Grand Theft Auto VI is gonna come out in 2018, so not for another 3 years. I actually have played through over 50% of the story missions in GTA V on PS4, but that is over the course of 8 months since it's been out, vs where I beat it in only 5 days on Xbox 360 back in September 2013. I do intend on beating the game on GTA V for PS4 just so I can, but not for a while. I might try and trudge through it by the end of the year. If they announce story DLC, I will for sure. Also, I play Online a lot. I have no Online friends. My best friend only plays it on PS3, he hasn't upgraded to PS4 yet, and my other friend is a hardcore PC gamer. (We get into arguments about consoles vs PC sometimes) so I have nobody to play with online, besides people in lobbies, but I still have fun with it. I do think I would be having more fun with it if I had a buddy to tag along with, but I'm ok with me, myself, and I for now. I'm hoping to make a new friend soon I can play with. Also, plenty of people still play this. There are still tons of Youtube videos of the console version being put out there, and I am always in full lobbies when I go Online. And I also go on the Grand Theft Auto V subreddit, which is a pretty active place. So no, good sir, Grand Theft Auto V is not dead. It may not be as active as it was in late 2013 and early to mid 2014, and in late 2014 when the PS4 and Xbox One versions were released, but it is still very much alive. In fact, I don't think GTA V will die until GTA VI comes out, which I am suspecting will be in 2018. I actually think we might get our first teaser trailer sometimes next year. happygrowls and V12599

So because you had your fun that means no one else can? I still play GTA IV every couple of months and I prefer playing it over GTA V. Despite it being the only GTA I've finished to 100% I still feel like I've never experienced every single thing about it even after 7 years. IMO GTA IV on its own has high replay, but with EFLC it's even better. One day I would like to play through the games chronogically. If you find it hard to believe that someone would actually find GTA IV/EFLC more fun all I can say is it's kind of sad how a simple concept such as have a different interest seems to go over your head because you don't agree with it.
