CarnageRacing00
@MichiganMuscle77 I don't think he's lying seeing how much he loves IV although IMO only TBoGT has a decent amount of replayability thanks to things like Drug wars, parachutes etc. IV by itself is boring as f*ck, even though the story is awesome, there is nothing to do afterwards. Again, this is all my opinion. Yeah, pretty much this. I mean, I had my fun with IV... the swingset glitch, shoving cars off that ledge near the docks so they'd explode when they hit the ground, plowing through traffic with the bus at Star Junction over and over and over... but that game really put the brakes on the freedom of the GTA series. People say V is restrictive, but man, they must really be in denial about how little there was to do in IV, and how almost everything you COULD do was bogged down by the weight of "realism". They seem to forgot just how much of a pain in the ass it was to play thanks to the incredibly clunky on-foot controls, the god-awful cover system that rarely worked right, and the fun-killing driving physics. I mean, GTA V still has sh*tty on-foot controls, the cover system still isn't all that great, and the vehicle physics leave a lot to be desired, but man, I find it hard to believe than anybody could really prefer IV over V when it comes to overall fun factor. @ten-a-penny I wish it had either a faster fire rate or no overheating to compensate for the low fire rate. They fixed it for V, it's a pain in the ass to hit anything with, but it's hilarious to park it outside of Ammunation with the guns aimed at the doorway while someone is inside shopping. Well, it used to be, at least... before the helicopter radar icon was added. No IV was fun if you made it fun. If you lacked creativity and such you'd get bored. There were so many glitches, interior's, secret cars, etc etc. Especially in FM you could go into the majestic hotel and have players try to storm in taking the turf, while you/friends defended the place. IV shooting plus cover was great. Cover always worked for other players mostly so i don't see the problem there, unless you didn't know the basic essentials of how to take cover properly. You cant have limbs out were they can be shot. Having shootout madness at the airport or going into the museum for a battle either way IV was extemely fun. In V everything is catered and handed over to you, which not only is bad. But Everything else is bad aswell. In IV there were no restrictions, V/Online is where everything is restricted. Want interiors? Nope, Locked Want good shooting physics? Nope Want to have fun? Nope Everything is boring in V, you can't even create your own fun because there's literally NOTHING TO DO. R* messed up trying to turn this into a mmo. It should've been more like SA -MP / IV V was a big hype fest filled with dissapoontment, and restrictions. I hope the IV team makes VI. Please save us from this terrible V that should be forgotten.......... Dude no. If you want to be taken seriously, don't start your rambling by defending IVs cover system, which is well known to be clunky and unresponsive. Not even some of the most die hard IV fanboys here argue about that - V's cover system works much, much better. As for the rest of your post... I need to take some aspirin before I even attempt to waste my time. If you can't stand the frustrations in V, just play something different, GTA 5 is not the last and only game left on Earth. That's right. Just play IV and EFLC again like I'm doing. I suspect you're lying. For all your gripes against GTA V it would blow my mind that you find infinite replay-ability in GTA IV + EFLC. Yeah sure Michigan I'm lying. I'm lying, even though I have nothing to gain from telling lies about a video game to people on an online gaming forum that don't know me personally and who have never seen my face However, I couldn't give a speck of sh*t as to what you suspect. Take what I say or leave it mister. Aren't you supposed to be ignoring me? You've "warned" me several times now... ten-a-penny and V12599

I enjoyed them, but I definitely didn't feel like they were some major essential part of the game... I would rather have them than not, but if i have to live without them, I can. Officer Ronson
I would enjoy doing something else more creative than just doing what half of the series puts you up to, I dunno. Something like the chainsaw massacre minigame in LCS or probably the gang wars in VCS.

Algonquin Assassin
V's cover system works much, much better. Well obviously. R* had 5 years, RDR and MP3 to learn from to make it work "much, much better". They had no excuse. Then again I've always wondered what their excuse is for GTA V lacking crouching, being able to pick things up, grab and hold onto ledges etc. All core aspects that were present in GTA IV and I still don't see why they're not present in GTA V. Like most things GTA V is one step forward and two steps (or more) back in this regard. Official General, Tycek and Payne Killer

ten-a-penny
And the fact that sneaking in Skyrim is actually better than V is annoying. Even if you have the Sneak skill at 50 with no Perks, its hard-ish to get detected unless you're wearing heavy armor. It is a joke once you reach 100 - getting detected is nearly impossible. Algonquin Assassin
In how far is crouching and beeing able to pick things up a core aspect of the game ? Could you evaluate I consider them to be core aspects of the the mechanics. Crouching has been around since VC and I still prefer it to GTA V's "stealth" which is ineffective the majority of the time. It's laughable compared to other games where stealth is actually vital. Watch Dogs has a way better stealth system. As for being able to pick up things this could've been improved on to allow us to pick up melee weapons such as bats etc off the ground, tables etc. Or even being able to pick up heavier objects. I could see a raged Trevor picking up a park bench and beating the sh*t out of someone with it. ten-a-penny, Misunderstood and The Dedito Gae

Nah nah nah Gta 6
Crouching would be pointless thanks to the new cover system, there wouldn't be a point for it, and I don't think the game is designed to have one because you would get shot a lot thanks to the accurate A.I. Picking up things is even more pointless, if it was the it wouldn't hurt the game though since there is still a lot of small objects around LS, I could see it being used for some gamemodes but thats it. Lester-The-Molester
Stealth was fun in missions like Crystal Maze or The Third Way at Devin's mansion but other than that it's pretty broken in free roam. Although I agree that crouching should've been in the game, it's lack of presence didn't affect me alot, maybe just when I'm in the desert and there's no cover besides some rocks which taking cover on looks awkward with your head sticking out. CarlitoDorito
Just because an online gamer says SP should die, doesn't mean it's true. Like if a disgruntled ex fan says the game is dead, doesn't mean it's true either. Thats a fact. 'GTA V is dead' isn't. It might actually be what really negative people say to make themselves feel better, because a game they say is dead is very much alive and played by so many people, all these months later. Obviously because they dislike the game it's the devs fault and anyone who does play is 12, casual or retarded, nothing to do with taste at all. It seems gamers can't stand something they dislike being successful. Osho
What actually "Game X is dead" means is that the single player lacks a strong replay value. Imagine V without GTA:O and then you will easily understand. That's why many people are demanding SP dlc for some new life into it. CarlitoDorito
^^ I agree, it does lack replay value, I play it now about an hour a month, a quick rampage here and there. Hopefully, if the planets align, we will get an announcement about it soon, also hopefully it'll bring some things that'll excite everyone. Then I can argue about it with my fellow GTA fans instead arguing about all the things we've been arguing about for ages now.
