What type of gamer annoys you the most?

Recently its the player who wait's for an event to start up then go's round knocking off the participants. Shooting down any planes or copters in the air collecting checkpoints or camping out near the target cars or case & taking out anyone who tries to get near it. I hate those kind of players.

He started sending me hate mail after going into spectator mode, it was pretty nasty stuff so I drove to Martin's house super slowly, stopping at traffic lights and everything then parked next to the house until he left.

People who deliberately idle in missions and contribute nothing, expecting to get a free ride.

 

I don't care what anyone does in free roam, but it's the people who try to take advantage of others not being able to shoot them to ruin a cooperative experience that I hate the most, and who induce me to find creative ways to deal with them.

I hate:

People who have the mic on voice activation and it so sensetive it picks up anything, even the game itself so it kinda feedback loops.

People who do not listen to advice in mission/Heist.

People who go passive after either killing me or trying to kill me so they can protect their K/D.

People who ruin freeroam events for no other reason then "Lol free kills".

People who mod/hack and ruins fun. I don't care if you are in a flying car transporting people past the sky limit, Aslong you don't sit and spam the kill everyone on the server button or use godmode to go kill people, I don't care what you do.

The sanctimonious gamer who thinks you have to play by his tribal code (e.g. only legitimate griefing battle is on foot, auto-aim off, no explosives, etc etc). There are definitely more skilled ways to go head to head with others online, but as long as you aren't cheating, the rules and limitations are set by the game, not by you. Hate the game, not the player.

I really dislike deathmatch 'run-and-gunners', who fix the weapon to assault rifles and hold a plastic point-and-shoot gun in their hand.

 

It used to be the same on GTA IV and that damned Colony Island map. You can tell in about 10 seconds that someone is using a hand-held gun instead of a controller.

All the Rambo's out there who do nothing but combat roll and fight CONSTANTLY. No other skills other than shooting and getting shot right back.

 

Most nights you go into a lobby and there are one or two moving hot zones where you can't even pass through without getting shot.

 

Seriously, if someone is barreling through the area in a supercar, they aren't trying to fight you, they just want past.

 

Can't even remember then time I met up and played GTAO with a person I met in a lobby, it's all a warzone now.

yes please do cause my gta online experience totally ruined for me sometimes, but when i get killed i kill the players who kill me so thats no problem for me but i dont understand why players have to kill me even if i just try to free roam in public lobbies and try to make some fun and hang out, and there are a lot of good players out there who thinks the same about it, and if players only play gta 5 just to get their kill/death ratio up then they better play call of duty or another type of online shooter but that's my opinion

Never had a need to post in here before but after last night's team deathmatch my least favourite type of gamer

currently is rooftop camper who does nothing but fire endless streams of rockets, grenade rounds, explosives

in all directions repeatedly taking advantage of being able to hit you anywhere on the map even when

undercover or not within range of the weapon.

The ones that annoy me are:

 

1. The players who die once on a mission and don't bother changing their strategy so they continually die over and over, causing multiple mission failures.

 

2. The players who come up to a store when you are shopping and purposely kill the store assistant so the store closes.

 

3. The annoying script kiddie who spams every player in the lobby with endless explosions (even though it could damage people's eyes due to the brightness of the explosions).

The purpose of a sport is to compete with other players to see where you rank relative to them. proving that youre more effective with an rpg than someone else is with a sniper or an AR does not accomplish this, its just a pointless and idiotic thing to do, youre delusional if you think that it makes you better. you fire an explosive in your opponents general direction and odds are they die, there's no skill involved, and thus you cant compare skill levels, and thats no fun for anybody. You're not proving you're better or worse or even competing for that matter, and nobody is having fun, so i reiterate, its just a pointless idiotic thing to do. Its also offensive because it tends to annoy people when idiots harbor the delusion that using sackless cheap tactics mean you're anything other than a poor sport. If you cant understand the concept of competing with someone on equal ground for the sake of becoming better then you lack pride and sportsmanship, which is pretty pathetic for a man. If you cant understand that, then i cant possibly explain just how pathetic that is.

 

2.) A fast firing op spray sniper that you sporadically fire at maximum fire rate hoping to hit your opponent randomly VS a slow firing sniper that you fire at a variable rate when your opponent goes into the crosshairs. If I want to get better at the game, prove i'm better than you, or have fun by doing something that actually requires skill, the heavy rifle is the only intelligent and sportsmanlike choice. To choose otherwise citing only that its a more effective weapon is only an excuse for not having the pride or even the attention span to want or even be able to get better at the game, much less be able to compete with any player who possesses even the smallest sack. If you're fighting someone who's using a heavy rifle, You can use the marksman all you want, just don't harbor the delusion that you're competing, and that your kills provide any context into your relative skill. The fact that you're scared of using the heavy rifle is already proof enough that you believe the other guy has more skill than you, and rightly so.

Never thought of it that way haha.

 

Usually in free roam I do not play by anyone's rules as there are no rules to play by in free roam. I am not that type of player who calls in a jet or a tank to grief 1 or more players for killing me. Maybe I am not a good sport for being considerate towards other players, but if I have weapons at my disposal that could potentially put me at an advantage over them, I will use it.

 

I have fought against other players who were deadly accurate with the Heavy Sniper, doing a far better job than me. But that's because I was playing their game, which already put me at a disadvantage, and that's what many people will want their foes to do. If you are not very accurate with a Heavy Sniper in comparison to your opponent, it is only logical to pull out your Marksman Rifle to level the playing field, hence why I said every weapon has its downfalls.

 

For me, the most important thing apart from skill, is learning from your mistakes and learning from people who are better than you. It is cowardly to be arrogant and blame them for your defeat.

 

I do understand and respect the points you have raised, perhaps it's my fault for not being a hardcore PvP'er like others lol.

Though I must admit, I had a few rounds against a guy a few days ago, we were both in jets to start with, then I killed him from the ground a few times, to which I'd get a reply of "Nice shot", I don't mind them kind of people, we called peace & went on to do a few missions, why can't everyone else be decent?
