You think about it adding a 4th garage can't be hard right? I'm sure it wouldn't take a lot of time just to enable and implement that into the coding. I'm not going to go crazy saying MANSION'S!! CASINOS!! as they would be more demanding in terms of the game it self I know PS4, XBOX One and PC would be able to run those features flawlessly, but Rockstar are trying to think about the many fans still on the last gen and that can be negative for people who want better quality DLCS on the PS4 etc but that's how it will be. To be honest is there any point in sending Rockstar emails telling them want we as the customer of game we purchased and they created surely we should have some influence of what goes in the game.

 

They should put out a survey every few months and they should pick the most popular DLC ideas and put a poll on the newswire and let players decide, as Rockstar said many moons ago that they would listen to what the community wanted in the game...HA that's funny Rockstar actually listening to what players want (that would be an ideal situation)

 

To add, my personal opinion on this DLC is that its been rushed... That's if they started as soon as Part 1 came out. But they should have left a bigger gap between Part 1 & Part 2. Remember when they kept delaying GTA V PC 'but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible', don't you wish they would say this about DLCS so they could add a big variety of content, I know there will some of you out there saying 'You ungrateful tw*t, its FREE DLC',Yes! It may be free but Rockstar brought this on themselves by releasing 'FREE' DLC I don't know about you but I only expected single player DLC not any online DLC, we all know that GTA Online is Rockstars golden egg and they will probably carry this on for a number of years to come, but they need to start pulling there finger out of their ass and listen to there fans who have stuck by them through every game and the millions of fans that have made them a Billion Dollar Company

An update doesn't cost you anything you're mistaken with a DLC. In story mode you get the weapons and cars without paying any money. Yes online you're buying the content with money but it's fake money unless you bought a shark card.

To everybody STILL using the old "they just want to sell Shark Cards" line: You do realize those Shark Cards are what pays for these new DLC's, right?

 

I hope you're not naive enough to think that game sales alone are paying for all this "free" content almost two years later. The day Shark Cards stop selling is the day DLC stops coming. You should thank card buyers for funding the DLC you've been mooching all this time.

That line's about as old as the one you used about Shark Cards paying for DLC's.

 

Do you realize how much money has already been made from them selling the same game for 5 different platforms?

This is so true. Rockstar doesnt care about players or what they want. All they care about is the money going into their pocket. If theres some sort of car duplication glitch or money exploit, Rockstar puts a full task-force to fix it. They'll even adjust how the game works in order to patch it (as seen with the newest 5 minute cooldown on inventory screen request vehicle)... But have we seen any of the connection issues fixed?

 

So many times we get disconnected from a game, join a public lobby and be by yourself, go to join friends and be put in a random lobby, cant connect to friends, says host left the session when he didnt, attempting to join a job and couldn't connect, and many other scenarios. But they arent being focused on. They're more focused on pushing out content thats so expensive, it will push people to spend more money buying shark cards.

 

If you look back at Red Dead Redemption, at some point someone hacked the servers and multiplayer was almost unplayable for the longest time, and it was never even touched on. Is this really how Rockstar views its fanbase? I'm not saying I won't go buy Red Dead 2, or GTA 6... they're still great games which is unfortunate because it's like feeding the monster...

Actually the day Shark Cards stop selling is the day we will start receiving HUGE updates and people won't complain anymore.

Because they won't be free so they shouldn't be lazy and try to create huge updates.

Think about it.. A great percentage of the community seems to be perfectly content with these mediocre cosmetic updates, and I'm sure as sugar they generate a hefty return on shark card sales following the release of said updates, so why would they do anything different? Why would they put themselves out and, you know, actually work at creating quality content when they can just keep releasing the same ol' mindless cars/guns/clothes updates which seemingly satisfies a disturbing amount of the community.

Never had any interest at in anything with the word "coquette" in it. Still not.

Fair enough. Wouldn't suprise me that this is it. It would suprise me if they added mansions as a suprise because anouncing that would only hype people up more. But stating "a sample" is very explicit and speculation based on such a statement is only normal. But perhaps that is what they want. We'll find out next week.

Here's my thoughts on the new goodies announced:

The Coquette, Progen T20 and Chino are really similar in style to the vehicles we just had in the previous update. I really can't find myself too interested in them. I wish they had released something more distinct.

 

But I actually like the Vindicator and the Brawler. The Vindicator is a bit like the Thrust, but more futuristic looking and I hope it performs better. The Brawler looks like something that's completely different from any car in the game which is why I like it.

 

The Toro just looks like a fancier version of the Speeder which btw was also a dlc vehicle. I think what this game needs is a bigger boat.

 

As for the weapons, the marksman pistol actually looks pretty badass and with the brass knuckles I like that they're not just giving us another bat/nightstick/knife re-skin. It'll probably be a fist re-skin(same animations, but just with brass knuckles and more damage), but at least it's something new and perhaps they will have more knockback than just regular fists.
