Nothing will beat my car, not even boat on wheels or paper car. I can take three grandmas with me, have nice sightseeing around city without having to stop at pay n spray, my car won't even oversteer! #PerennialMasterRace

 

 

There's nothing that you can do in the Cheetah that I can't do in the Idaho. I've won races, picked up some of Liberty City's finest women, survived heated encounters with some of the worst gangs in the city - And not once has the vehicle failed me. It's a legendary vehicle, something I'll never be able to say about your car...

Who kept the Yakuza Stinger in the Staunton Garage? I thought we were going to keep the special vehicles in the Safehouse Garages for now.

The EC Black Rumpo I collected was still at the back of the Staunton Garage and we haven't collected any other Special Vehicles so we had the room to keep it, even if just for the next player to use to get to their destination quicker after they load up the game. You're free to remove any non-Special Vehicles whenever you want to, especially if you want to collect any Special Vehicles and need the Garage Space. :)

A Drop in the Ocean took quite some time lol. Had some FPS issues on Windows 10 for some reason. Also, the rainy weather made it terrible to play. Seriously need to downgrade.

I was wondering if someone will notice that there is possible to do three missions in one turn. :)

The same can be done for Give Me Liberty, Luigi's Girls & a RC Side Mission/Off-Road Mission.

Yeah, I meant storyline missions. But good point Arrow, I didn't even think about that so you can actually finish more than 3 missions in one turn.

TBH, I always felt that Love's Disappearance was never a part of 100% Completion. Once I did it after the Exchange. But on the other hand, the Off-Road Missions while Hidden are required for 100% Completion. Same for Marty Chonks' missions.

There's no restrictions on when Paramedic should be done, but it is advised that we get it done as early in the game as we can. It's not going to be too much of an issue now that the Triads dislike us but we should definitely think about getting it done before the Leone Family turn hostile.

Triads are equally hostile as Leones. The Side Missions on each island should be done before the gangs turn hostile. That's the way to roll.

No, they aren't. Triads have pistols and I completed paramedic anyway. Leones have shotguns – 2, 3 shots and you're dead in a vehicle.

I found something when i am trying to get Dodo.

I believe that's one of the glitches that can be used to drive over the Porter Tunnel and access Shoreside early in game, without turning a car into a Ghost Car. It's one of the many methods. You drive till Shoreside, above the tunnels and fall over the blue hell wherever required.

I think there is now 6 packages left in Staunton I wanted to do more but I had to cut my round short for other reasons. I've gotta go.

Wait. I just did "Multistorey Mayhem". Did you improve my 105s time or did you simply enter the name of the save (which was changed during my turn)?

 

Also, it's generally not a good idea to collect random packages because if you don't collect the rest in a latter turn other players will have problems finding the remaining ones (it's better to collect all on one island at a time or mention which ones you got if there aren't too many of them). Did you use a particular guide for picking them up?

Mr.ClaudeFan, your savefile from last turn kept crashing my game so I had to go one step back. Is there any chance you run modified game so that could be cause of crashes?

Well originally I was a seperate copy of the game with only the XBOX mod by Rim and Widescreen Fix but that kept crashing when I was delivering the Blista to the I/E garage so I had to switch to another copy I had on my PC; I'm pretty sure I installed something a long time ago that kept crashing it. But yes, it was indeed a modded copy of the game. I could have sworn it was alright since I had made some saves recently with it and they all loaded fine on the Xbox version. Not sure which mod I had installed that kept crashing it as it's mainly texture mods and III Aircraft (although I didn't use any planes/helis in my runs) Many apologies for this violation of the rules to everyone. I'll delete that copy immediately and replace it with vanilla 1.0.

Hopefully that might have been the cause --- I was using a modded retail 1.0.

Just make sure you've a genuine 1.1 copy, vanilla. And you should have no issues here after.

Oh I definitely never downloaded it; this is the genuine CD copy I got way back when. I was able to load saves on it just fine (my XBOX mod version and this one shared the same User Files folder in my Documents, so every slot loaded just fine) --- I suppose I installed something that screwed up the save. I'm going through it now to find the culprit - I have a strong feeling it was III Aircraft.

Actually 1.0 works perfectly fine. It is what I'm using since I also have mods installed.

 

The Xbox mod works well for the most part but the issue is whether you also installed the optional Skin and bones mod. You'll get random crashes with that installed. In fact I lost a ton of progress a while ago precisely due to that mod.

What's the maximum amount of cars you guys have ever blown up in Casino Calamity? I was able to destroy 6 cars in the turn.

My post from the main thread:

 

 

4 hours are up and I'm taking a turn.

 

Edit: Someone screwed up. The "Taxi Driver" mission was permanently deleted\removed from the game and this bug cannot be undone. Someone used the Taxi\crusher glitch improperly and they unintentionally bugged the save. For crying out loud, DO NOT USE the Caps Lock button or the + button when you perform the glitch. USE THE LOOK BEHIND (mouse wheel button, 1+2, or Q+E) BUTTONS ONLY! Otherwise the game will bug out 10 times out 10. Someone sort this mess out. I lost a ton of progress and I'm too tired to investigate what happened.

 

Edit 2: I have identified when the save file got corrupted. It was in this turn: http://gtaforums.com/topic/880086-grand-theft-auto-iii-chain-game-round-62/?p=1069363919

 

The last save file that doesn't contain the bug is this: http://gtasnp.com/bmUfHy

 

The Chain Game should revert back to that save instead. Unfortunately a lot of progress has been lost due to that. In the future please do not use the Taxi\crusher bug to complete the Paramedic mission unless you follow these steps to the letter (my old tutorial):

 

 

You are not supposed to use the button that toggles the side mission. You are supposed to use one of the "look behind" buttons (or key combinations). Otherwise the game will remove the Taxi Driver mission permanently which cannot be reversed.

I might start another turn later on tonight but first the staff need to acknowledge what happened.

I never knew that the Crusher tricks could screw up saves so badly. I'm not a special vehicles collector, but I realized that Big 'N Veiny was the last save the glitch wasn't there. What glitch are we talking of? Can anyone link me to this trick?
