But quickly learned why no one had done it yet... because it's impossibly difficult.

Yeah, this is because after the mission 'Sayonara Salvatore' (which is already complete in this round) Paramedic becomes more difficult due to the increase in hostile gang activity. It can still be done though, just not as easily as it can be done at the beginning of the game before that particular mission is complete.

Yeah, that was part of my problem, no matter how carefully I felt like I was driving, I would always end up blowing up around Level 5, and I must have been driving carefully since I kept almost running out of time with every delivery, but I suppose those slight bumps and gunshots and such really add up over time. I deem it to be impossible! :D Well, I guess Johan just did it, so it isn't, but still, the only chance I personally have of doing it is using that ghost ambulance glitch (that I looked up and found out about after the fact in my attempt to find ways to complete it), which I'm not sure is even allowed, so perhaps I am simply destined never to complete GTA III paramedic. :(

Normally we try and get it done at the beginning of the game when it's easier, but some rounds we haven't done it and it can cause a bit of a problem at the end of the round when many of us try to get it done and don't do well :pp

Ghost Ambulance Glitch

Yes, you are free to use this glitch within the Chain Game - made a video about it which is most likely the one you had seen. It makes it easier as the Ambulance can't get damaged so it's useful to know, particularly if Paramedic is left until this stage of the game. Edited by GTAKid667

Ah, good to know for next round then! I think I'll slowly learn how to play this game over the course of each round, should be interesting compared to the other games I know off by heart. The video I found was called "The Easiest Way to Complete Paramedic" (which may or may not be the one you're talking about, I'm not sure) so it obviously immediately grabbed my attention. :D Thanks for the advice!

Am I the only one who finds the Dodo "inconveniently convenient"?

As long as I use a PS2/USB joystick to play

And by that you mean... what exactly?

I play with a USB joystick too (some replica of a PS3 controller but it works really well), but I cannot, to this day, get that dodo to fly. I can take off and gain some altitude, but I can't keep it for sh*t.

When taking off, keep pressing "Dodo down" until you see sparks coming from under the body so it will gain more speed (it doesn't accelerate by it's propeller but by its wheels). When airborne, try to keep Dodo a very small degree from horizontal so it won't lose much speed.

I know how to do it, but can't put it to practice. Like I said, I can get up with the Dodo, I just can't keep it in the air.

Hey, I wanna play this again. Just to be clear, would the Steam version be a problem? I searched the topic and was able to load a sample savegame with it, but I want to be sure it works both ways before I make myself look stupid. I'm pretty good at doing that.

The only difference between retail and Steam versions is DRM. I'm playing mostly on Steam version (retail only if I play something else on Steam).

And, for GTA:VC, it doesn't really matter, too, because there's a save converter on GTASnP.com

I assume that's fine since the Stretch is far more valuable in terms of actual usage.

Yeah that's fine :)

There is a way that you can move vehicles over to other islands though too, using the 'Crusher Glitch' which can also be used to make vehicles Damage/Dent Proof:

At 2:15, after you have finished the step with the crusher itself, the vehicle enters a Ghost State where it will be able to pass through any walls and obstacles, such as the barriers preventing access to the Porter Tunnel. So you can simply do this glitch with a vehicle such as the Kuruma and drive it through the barriers over to one of the garages on the other islands. When a Ghost Vehicle is saved in a garage it becomes Damage/Dent Proof.

Ah, okay, I hadn't thought of that. Again, still learning this stuff, haven't played much GTA III like I said. I'll remember that for future, I'll have to practise doing that a bit. Seems like that Crusher glitch is useful for quite a lot of situations though, I think that'll become my new solution to everything.

It's completely fine even if you don't use it, I just wanted to let you know as I'm sure you'll find it useful in the future. Hopefully by playing the GTA III Chain Game you'll learn quite a few things about III :)

Welp...yes...paramedic was indeed already done. I was making quite the assumption to think that it had not been already...excuse me while I go gouge my eyes out and bash my head against the wall...repeatedly...I feel like the more I play, the more of a fool I appear to be. :bored: How did I...I have no idea. Let's all forget that ever happened.

No stress, I went for the dodo during my latest turn and midway I remembered that thehambone already delivered it. Not as bad as your case, but still.

I hate that flamethrower rampage.

Yeah, that rampage absolutely sucks. I usually hop in a fast car and drive over by the Pay 'n' Spray and use the walls inside that complex as cover from the Colombians.

Another round complete :):^:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who still has trouble with that one. Total pain in the ass. Fyi, you can also run/drive one block down (towards the dam) where you can burn unsuspecting Cartel members through the bushes, if I remember correctly. One or two might get around the fence and attack you that way, but other than that it's safe. Far better than getting torn to shreds in the middle of the damn street for the fiftieth time.

And I kill them by running on sidewalk, when I have low health, I aggro them and hide behind garage east of the rampage.

You can also just go to the back of the house where the Rampage is located and flame them through the bushes, too. Start Rampage 100 Health, 100 Armor. End Rampage 100 Health, 100 Armor. It's very easy using the tricks, etc.

Hey,

I hope everyone's well, we've had a relativity quiet period for the Chain Game due to the inactivity of the management staff and players following a busy time outside of the forums. We're ready to start Round 56, the next round of the GTA III Chain Game, and there are a few changes I'd like to make you all aware of that will come into effect from the new round:

Management Staff Changes - After over a year of dedicated service to the Chain Game, we are unfortunately losing our Assistant Chief @Johan who over time has been extremely helpful to the game helping to set up the Chain Game Index by re-creating a large amount of broken Statistics Tables from before GTAForums upgraded back in 2013 as well as offering extremely useful and honest feedback about Chain Game Features and giving additional suggestions towards what we could do to improve the game. Johan has also covered the Checklist Duty in my absence and has been extremely active and dedicated to the game taking almost 300 Turns! Johan will certainly be a big loss to the management staff and is more than welcome to return in the future when he has more time - As with previous staff, I'm sure Johan will still be around to take turns occasionally and isn't leaving us completely!

Updated Opening Posts - Several corrections were made throughout the opening posts including Spelling and Grammatical corrections, removing no longer needed information and changing 'Save'N'Play' to 'GTASnP.com'!

Updated Unique Vehicles List - Locked Door (LD) Vehicles have been removed from the Unique Vehicles List due to there being no need to keep them listed as the property does not save in garages when the vehicle is stored. The terminology in the Legend has also been changed affecting the 'Unique Color' property, which is now referred to as 'Exclusive Color' (EC) with completely unique vehicles such as the Corpse Manana marked as 'Unique' (U).

Thanks once again to everyone for your continued support and dedication to the game. If you spot any more errors or have any more suggestions, feel free to let us know by posting here in the lounge or messaging one of the management staff (GTAKid667 or MrMateczko)! :)

I'd like to finally make an important note about the future of Chain Game Rounds. Due to changes in the circumstances of launching new rounds of the games, we'll be testing out new ways of starting rounds and as a result you may see sections of the round being visible before the round has officially started. Until the Starter Save is posted, the round will not have officially started and so if you see sections of the round visible in the GTA III Forum, we request that no one posts in the topics until the Starter Save is posted ! :)

The Manana with the Corpse is an EC Vehicle with a Unique Feature (Corpse).

That is because the Manana used in "Dead Skunk In The Trunk" is a totally different model from the regular Manana. The "Dead Skunk In The Trunk" uses a model named "CORPSE", modelled specifically to contain a corpse in the trunk. It only comes in silver color, so it's not EC in terms of its real meaning

Nevermind what I said :D:p

Because of the specials for this round does this make the garages useless as in we cant change them.

You can use and change the vehicles in the garages if you want to during your turn, we were just having a little fun by placing them there and wouldn't want to make the garages useless if you'd like to use them. We can always put replacement DP Vehicles there if we want any back ;)

I hate to be nitpicky, but did you ever finish your turn, Th3MaN1? It's been more than three hours.
