Chain Game Announcement!

As we near the end of 2017, I'd like to start by thanking all players of the Grand Theft Auto III Chain Game for their contributions throughout what has been a great year for the game. This year we have completed 18 Regular and 2 Starter Save Rounds of the game, with varying levels of activity and a wide array of players. A highlight of the year for myself has to be Round 69 where we set the record for the fastest ever Chain Game Round in the time of just 1 day, 1 hour and 20 minutes beating the previous record we set in Round 67. The dedication from players shown in that round, as well as the teamwork and great contribution makes that a round to remember. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to take turns in the Chain Game throughout 2017 and I hope you will consider joining us again for more rounds in 2018. Wishing you all a Happy New Year, and best wishes for 2018.

New Chain Game Design
The Chain Game will return in 2018 and with Round 80 I'm excited to announce that we will be introducing a brand new set of Opening Posts. I have been working hard over the last few months to entirely recreate the Chain Game Design from scratch, something that has never been done in my tenure as Chief of the Chain Game. It had become clear to the Chain Game Staff that the outgoing set of Opening Posts had become dated and lacked information on newer practices of the game, as well as lacking clarity on the Chain Game Rules, not going into enough detail about what is acceptable and this became apparent when a turn had to be re-completed due to breaking the Chain Game Rules but I felt were not fit for purpose in clearly outlining that what was done was unacceptable.

The New Chain Game Design will not feel unfamiliar to existing players of the Chain Game, I have attempted with the overall design of the posts to keep a similar look and feel as the colors and fonts in use currently are not unsuitable and therefore are not needed to be replaced. However, all text has been completely rewritten and as such I have aimed to provide greater clarity in the Rules and Regulations of the Chain Game.

Chain Game Rule Changes:
There have been changes made to the Chain Game Rules. During the process of writing the new set of Opening Posts, I had the opportunity to re-assess whether or not the Chain Game Rules were appropriate, whether any could be changed, and whether there is a need to introduce any new rules.

Notable Changes to the Chain Game Rules include:

Change of Modification Stance - Our stance towards the use of modifications has been changed, and we have now included an 'Exceptions to the No Modifications Rule' where it is made clear that there are a specific set of Modifications that can be used. This rule has already been in effect for a while, with no players using any of these modifications facing turn invalidation.

It has been recognised by the Chain Game Staff that there have been modifications created for the game that are not Gameplay Altering but instead work to patch many of the issues that the older Grand Theft Auto games share due to the advancements in hardware, and therefore do not cause any issues with Save Files.

We have revised our stance on Modifications to allow for the use of SilentPatch, Widescreen Fix and GInput by Chain Game Players for use in all Chain Game Turns as we recognise that they have been created with the purpose to address many of the issues that these games have, and do not cause any issues with Save Files that would go against the No Modifications Rule.

However, we'd like to make it very clear that these are the ONLY Modifications that we are allowing right now. Any turns that use another modification not covered in this list or not given permission to use by the Chain Game Chief will be invalidated irrespective or whether damage was caused to the save file or not.

No Failure - We have clarified for players what the 'No Failure' rule means. Importantly, you cannot fail a Mission, Rampage or Mission-Styled Side Mission.

You are not allowed to fail a Mission, Rampage or Side Mission during the completion of your Chain Game Turn. This specifically refers to all Named Story and Payphone Missions of the game, all Rampages and non-stackable Side Missions such as Vehicle Missions, Off Road Challenges and Toyz Missions. If a player fails any of these as a result of their own bad luck or through being Wasted or getting Busted, then they must either restart or forfeit their turn.

If you are collecting a Special Vehicle that requires a Mission Failure, then you will be allowed to fail the mission, but it must be mentioned in your turn post that you collected the Special Vehicle. Attempting to collect a Special Vehicle and being unsuccessful, but still failing the mission the Special Vehicle is from, is not allowed.

Mission Failure will be accepted only if you are collecting a Special Vehicle or you have been given permission by the Chain Game Chief to upload your Save File. Any other turn that is found to have a Failure Statistic will be declared invalid.

This is not a complete list of changes and all players are very strongly encouraged to read the entire set of Chain Game Rules once again to be completely clear with the practices of the game.

The New Chain Game Rules will be enforced from Round 80. There will be no margin of leniency for players who have not taken the time to re-familiarise themselves with the rules and have broken a rule that may not have existed previously, and this set of rules will be strongly enforced meaning there will now be fewer occasions where players are allowed to continue having broken rules. We take the rules seriously and expect you to do the same. Chain Game Turns that violate any of the Chain Game Rules will be declared invalid and the progress made in that turn, as well as that of any following turns, will be discarded.

Structural Changes:
The structure of the Chain Game Opening Posts has been altered in the new Chain Game Design to provide an easier to read format that contains information in a structured order that all players should be able to navigate easily to find the specific rules or information that they require. Two sections of the current Opening Posts, "Supplement to the Rules" and "Suggestions" have been entirely removed in the structural change, being merged into other sections of the post with their information now being found elsewhere in more appropriate and expected places.

The structure of the new Opening Posts will read in a format similar to as if you were taking a turn, with information about getting started at the beginning, all the way through to saving and uploading, which will be found near the end.

All important and general information about the Chain Game can be found towards the top of the rules section.

We are aware that the Opening Posts can be long to read, and not everyone is willing to spend the time reading through the rules. While we strongly recommend that you do, one of the changes I have made this time is expanding the Quick Start Guide. Previously, the Quick Start Guide was a basic set of 'what you must do' in a turn, but lacked any detail on important rules and policies, expecting you to read through the rules yourself. For the New Chain Game Design, I have expanded the Quick Start Guide to include important rules that you must be aware of before you begin. Even so, I still strongly advise all players to read the entire set of rules again when they get the time, before taking a turn in Round 80 or future rounds.

Importantly, I hope that all players find the new Chain Game Design to be more fit for purpose and useful during their participation in the game. Feedback, as always, is very much appreciated and you are welcome to send either @GTAKid667 (Me!) or @TubewayArmy a PM with any you may have.

Chain Game Contribution Spotlight
Finally, I'd like to take a moment today to highlight and respect the contributions to the Chain Game that @CCPD has made over the years.

CCPD is the designer behind the Chain Game Graphics and has created both the Logo and Artwork that appears in the Grand Theft Auto III and The Chain Game: San Andreas. These graphics have been in use for the Grand Theft Auto III Chain Game since Round 15 and I feel that they have been a great addition to the opening posts and provide a more professional, and simply much cooler, look to the topics we operate around the forum. Having recently done some further Graphics Work for the Chain Game that we are excited to reveal in the next few weeks, I felt that the major contribution CCPD has made towards the Chain Game over the years deserves rewarded.

For this reason, CCPD has been given a Medal on his GTAForums Profile for Chain Game Contribution. This is very well deserved and I'm sure you'll join me in congratulating CCPD in a well deserved award:

Congratulations! :)

Thanks to you all for continuing to be great players of the Chain Game Community. Wishing all the best for 2018 and hope to see you participating in future Chain Game Rounds :)

Chain Game Announcement!

Chain Game Factions
There's a war brewing between the Chain Game Players and we've decided to split ourselves up into three different Factions going into 2018, based on a suggestion by @MrMateczko during a Chain Game Turn Livestream:

Vr66XBH.png

The Idaho Mafia, The Perennial Ahoj and The Romanian Cheetah will now be Official Factions of the Chain Game until further notice. All Members of a Chain Game Faction will be placed in a Discord Group for their faction and receive a colored Name in the Members List, as well as access to a private Group Text Channel. On the forum, Members of a Chain Game Faction will get a special title in the Chain Game Player List during Rounds.

You may have noticed that some of us have chosen to represent on GTAForums as well:

unknown.png

You can choose a side by joining The Chain Game Discord Server and reacting to the pinned announcement with the respective group icon. You may only choose one faction to represent, so choose wisely!

If you'd rather not join the Chain Game Discord Server, while I'd recommend it, you can send either @GTAKid667 and @TubewayArmy a PM on GTAForums with your choice.

Participation in Chain Game Faction is optional and you can continue as a Regular Player if you wish. Here is some relevant information and advertisements on each Faction to help you consider which you wish to join:

The Idaho Mafia
The Idaho Mafia is ran by Chain Game Chief @GTAKid667 and is dedicated to proving that the Idaho is the greatest vehicle to have been appeared in a Grand Theft Auto Title.

A Message from The Idaho Mafia:

This is a vehicle that needs no introduction. The Idaho is the safest, most reliable and easily affordable vehicle in Liberty City. With a spacious interior and sufficient storage room in the back for all of your possible needs, you simply can't go wrong.

With a higher Member Count than our competition combined, it is obvious that the Idaho is the only worthwhile choice for your garage. By joining us in The Idaho Mafia you become part of the superior vehicle's followers and get a free Idaho*! How could anyone refuse?!?

*in picture form

The Perennial Ahoj
The Perennial Ahoj is ran by Chain Game Deputy Chief @TubewayArmy and is dedicated to showing the other players the superiority of the Perennial, and why it should be your first choice of vehicle when you play.

Here's a message from TubewayArmy, Leader of The Perennial Ahoj:

Are you looking for some reliable car? Do you want to reach your destination fast? Look no more! Perennial is here just for you! Recently revealed combi will seat four and get you to destination safely, unlike Idaho from the competing company! Brakes, steering wheel and radio come with standard specification without having to pay additional fees! Join The Perennial Ahoj for more information.

The Romanian Cheetah
The Romanian Cheetah is ran by Chain Game Expert Player @Th3MaN1 who is willing to enlighten all Chain Game Players that the Cheetah is the choice vehicle when it comes to speed, looks, and superiority.

And now a message from Th3MaN1 as to why you should join The Romanian Cheetah Group:

[Redacted]

Recording Mission Scores and Times
An important point that was not mentioned in the previous announcement is to remind all players that Mission Scores and Times must be recorded during turns you have completed where a time or score is displayed, either in-game or on the Stats Menu. This information is used for the Chain Game Index Records and is therefore important to note when you take a turn.

From Round 80, we have specifically added mention of the inclusion of "Smack Down - Yardies Killed" and "Rigged to Blow Bomb - Defusal Time". The first can only be seen in game when you do the mission, the latter can be found in stats. Players that do either of these missions must record these scores in their posts. Neither of these missions are usually recorded by players, but we ask that all players ensure they record the scores for these going forward as they will be used to determine Chain Game Records.

Here is the relevant information from the new Opening Posts:

There are several missions in Grand Theft Auto III that will store the scores or times that you have achieved in the Stats Page of the Pause Menu. Players who complete any of the following missions must note down the score or time they received in their Chain Game Turn Post:

 • Turismo - Mention the Race Time
 • Bling-Bling Scramble - Mention the amount of Checkpoints Collected
 • Smack Down - Mention the amount of Yardies Whacked
 • Rigged to Blow - Mention the Bomb Defusal Time
If you do not remember what score or time you achieved, you can check this in the Stats Page of the Pause Menu.

There are 4 Off Road Challenges found across Liberty City:

 • Patriot Playground
 • Multistorey Mayhem
 • A Ride in the Park
 • Gripped!
Players who complete any of the Off Road Challenges must note down the time that they achieved in their Chain Game Turn Post. This time can be found in the Stats Page of the Pause Menu.

There are 4 Toyz Missions that can be found at the Toyz Vans across Liberty City:

 • Diablo Destruction
 • Mafia Massacre
 • Casino Calamity
 • Rumpo Rampage
Players who complete any of the Toyz Missions must note down the score that they achieved in their Chain Game Turn Post. This score can be found in the Stats Page of the Pause Menu.

I hope you all have a great day and Happy New Year! :) Edited by GTAKid667

I don't remember any engine issues with Idaho, but I can't say the same about Perennial. @TubewayArmy said on Friday at about 11:30 PM UTC that his car went out of fuel. Liberty City isn't big enough to be worried about being late for the petrol station, so I suppose his car's fuel indicator broke down.

Chain Game Announcement!

There will be some changes made to the Save File used in Round 82 of the Grand Theft Auto III Chain Game as the Chain Game Factions go to war in a game of Faction Vehicle Hunt.

Based on the classic Chain Game Generated Vehicle Rounds, Faction Vehicle Hunt will see The Idaho Mafia, The Perennial Ahoj and The Romanian Cheetah each place their own Faction Vehicle on Portland, Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale. These vehicles are then included in a game of Vehicle Hunt where all players of the Chain Game, whether you are in a Faction or not, will have the opportunity to find all Hidden Vehicles in the chance to win :cookie:!

The winning faction will be the one who the last found Hidden Vehicle belongs to, or has a vehicle that is not found at the end of the round, and details on the potential prize can be found in the private Faction Channels on Discord.

But what is a Generated Vehicles Round?
If you're new, or unfamiliar with Generated Vehicle Rounds, here's an extract from a previous Chain Game Announcement with all you need to know!

How do I participate?
Well, that's easy! You can hunt for vehicles during your Chain Game Turn and if you discover any across the map, then make a note of the vehicle and it's location and write your findings in your turn post after you've edited the post once the turn is complete. It's important to note that Spoiler Tags must be used to conceal your findings in the edited post! You may link to images or videos within the Spoiler Tag in addition to noting the vehicle you have found. You may find this revised Posting Format of use:

Mission:Link:Completion:Notes:Generated Vehicles:

<< Write your findings here! >>

An example of a completed post may look like this:

Mission: Drive Misty For Me
Link: http://gtasnp.com/
Completion: 3%
Notes: Joey's Missions are now Unlocked!
Generated Vehicles:

Banshee - In the Car Showroom
Idaho - Parked at Supa Save
Mafia Sentinel - Outside Salvatore's Mansion

The example vehicles used above are regular parked vehicles in GTA III, and not any of the Generated Vehicles we're using in this Save File.

What kind of vehicles am I looking for?
There will be 9 Faction Vehicles, three for The Idaho Mafia, three for The Perennial Ahoj and three for The Romanian Cheetah. In addition to the Faction Vehicles, there will also be Personal Vehicles for the Chain Game Staff. @TubewayArmy and I have each chosen a car and secret location somewhere in Liberty City for you to find in addition to the other Generated Vehicles. Unlike the other vehicles, these will be alarmed and so you will be able to know if you find it that it belongs to one of us.

The locations of these vehicles will not be revealed, however you will be able to see any important additional information in the Starter Save Post of the Round Thread.

What happens if I correctly identify a vehicle?
If you correctly identify a Generated Vehicle, the location of that vehicle will be revealed in the Vehicle Hunt Checklist. In addition to this you will also win a :cookie:!

Every vehicle that you correctly identify will be worth one :cookie:! For Personal Vehicles, if you can correctly identify the owner you will earn an Extra :cookie:! Some vehicles may also only spawn in a single color, and if you can identify that they only spawn in that color then you can earn another Extra :cookie:!

We will keep a 'Cookie List' in the Vehicle Hunt Checklist so we can see who manages to get the most cookies at the end!

Do I have to participate in Vehicle Hunt?
The Vehicle Hunt minigame is a completely optional addition to the Chain Game for this round. You are not expected to participate in it if you do not want to, and not all vehicles have to be found before the end of the round. It's just meant to be a bit of extra fun, and I hope that several of you will give finding these vehicles a go!

Yay?
Yay! :)

Other Important Information

 • In order for the 11 Generated Vehicles to be spawned in this Save File, 11 of Liberty City's Regular Parked Cars have been moved. We have tried to select vehicles that are not often used or will be noticeable in game, and make the choice as widespread as we can and not all from the same location.
 • As the Chain Game Chief, I know of all locations of the Generated Vehicles as I am responsible for creating the Save File. As such, I have no right to use such vehicles in the game to benefit my gameplay such as by delivering them to Import/Export Garages neither can I participate in 'Vehicle Hunt'.
 • As all members of The Idaho Mafia know the locations of the three generated Idaho's, they are not allowed to 'find' these vehicles in the hunt or use them in ways that may benefit their gameplay such as by delivering them to Import/Export Garages but may participate in Vehicle Hunt as usual for the other 8 Vehicles in the game.
 • As all members of The Perennial Ahoj know the locations of the three generated Perennial's, they are not allowed to 'find' these vehicles in the hunt or use them in ways that may benefit their gameplay such as by delivering them to Import/Export Garages but may participate in Vehicle Hunt as usual for the other 8 Vehicles in the game.
 • As all members of The Romanian Cheetah know the locations of the three generated Cheetah's, they are not allowed to 'find' these vehicles in the hunt or use them in ways that may benefit their gameplay such as by delivering them to Import/Export Garages but may participate in Vehicle Hunt as usual for the other 8 Vehicles in the game.
 • As TubewayArmy is a Personal Vehicle Owner, he is not allowed to 'find' his own vehicle in the hunt or use it in ways that may benefit their gameplay such as by delivering them to Import/Export Garages but may participate in Vehicle Hunt as usual for the other 7 Vehicles in the game.
Hopefully I have covered all you need to know about the upcoming round, but if you are still unsure then please ask here in the Lounge, on Discord or Send me a Message and we can clear up any confusions. This will be a fun round as always and I hope to see many of you participate and hopefully search for some vehicles too!

I'll also let you in on another secret, there's another full Generated Vehicles Round with 30 Vehicles on the way before Round 90!!

Have fun searching! :)

Chain Game Announcement!

Once again it's time to put your searching skills to the test, Round 85 of the Grand Theft Auto III Chain Game will be a Generated Vehicles Round!

A Generated Vehicles Round is where there are a selection of vehicles scattered across the streets and seas of Liberty City in areas that they would not usually spawn for use by players throughout the round. Some of the vehicles that have been placed have been because of their usefulness, there may be vehicles that are usually rare or not unlocked until later in the game that you may find on your travels. Some of the vehicles that have been placed belong to other Chain Game Players, the Chain Game Staff have parked their own Personal Vehicles around Liberty City and members of The Perennial Ahoj Faction who won the Faction Event in Round 82 have also parked their own Personal Vehicles as a reward for their victory. And some of the vehicles that have been placed have been placed for fun.

To make the experience of new vehicles across Liberty City more unique, none of the vehicles or their locations will be revealed to any Chain Game Player when the round begins and instead, all Generated Vehicles will be included in the legendary "Vehicle Hunt" Minigame. This is where you get to put your finding skills to work and try and find all of the vehicles spawned across the map in a quest to earn :cookie:! We'll be keeping a checklist in the opening post and once a vehicle is correctly identified, it will be revealed for all players to see.

As always, if you are unfamiliar with Generated Vehicle Rounds or need a reminder of how they work, here's an extract from a previous Chain Game Announcement with all you need to know, customised for Round 85!

How do I participate?

In addition to these cars, Four Boats and Two Dodo Planes have been hidden around Liberty City.

There will also be a wide selection of Personal Vehicles across Liberty City for you to find. Five Personal Vehicles belong to members of The Perennial Ahoj who were victorious in the Faction Vehicle Hunt Event we held in Round 82, and a further Three Personal Vehicles belong to the members of The Chain Game Staff. Unlike the 'Regular Vehicles', Personal Vehicles will be Alarmed where applicable and may spawn in a custom permanent color.

The locations of these vehicles will not be revealed, however you will be able to see any important additional information in the Starter Save Post of the Round Thread.

Other Important Information

 • In order for the 30 Generated Vehicles to be spawned in this Save File, 30 of Liberty City's Regular Parked Vehicles have been moved.
 • As all of the Personal Vehicle Owners know the locations of their own Personal Generated Vehicle they are not allowed to 'find' their vehicle in the hunt or use them in ways that may benefit their gameplay such as by delivering them to Import/Export Garages but may participate in 'Vehicle Hunt' as usual for all of the other vehicles.

The future of Generated Vehicles and Vehicle Collection Limits
An additional important point I would like to raise in this announcement is regarding the future of Generated Vehicle Rounds and potential rules and limitations against the amount of vehicles that can be found by a single player in a short amount of time.

It has become apparant that with the popularity of Generated Vehicle Rounds, the last few rounds have often had the same few players find all of the vehicles that are present in the round Save File. This leads to some of the less active players of the Chain Game who may not have the opportunity to take a turn until late in the game to miss out on the opportunity to find vehicles.

There are not currently any limitations on the amount of vehicles that can be collected by a single player, though we want feedback from you on whether or not we should consider adding limitations for future Generated Vehicles Rounds and suggestions on what possible limits could look like. Consider things such as a maximum found vehicles per turn limit, maximum found vehicles per player limit or time cooldowns in between vehicle finds such as "You can only find X Vehicles in Y Hours". You can write your feedback here in the Chain Game Lounge or you can send a PM to one of the Chain Game Staff.

As a suggestion, I would recommend that all participants of Round 85 be considerate when participating in the Vehicle Hunt. While I understand it can be fun to try and find as many vehicles as possible, all 30 Vehicles being found in the first few turns by only two or three players can take the fun out of the game for some players and so I'd suggest limiting yourself and not making finding vehicles a main aim when taking turns, and also would suggest that players only search for vehicles during their turn time.

I'd also like to make a note about cheating in Generated Vehicle Rounds following discussion that was brought to my attention during the past round that included Spawned Content. Any form of cheating in a Generated Vehicle Round is taken very seriously and players caught cheating will be banned from participating from the Chain Game. The Chain Game is meant to be about having fun and working together, and cheating in order to benefit yourself is absolutely not acceptable. This applies to all players irrespective of the length of time you have participated in the Chain Game, the amount of turns you have taken or how friendly you are.

Overall, I think that Round 85 will be a round of the Chain Game to look forward to and I hope that all players enjoy participating in the Vehicle Hunt!

Chain Game Contribution Spotight
There's also some very exciting news that I'm happy to share with you today! @123robot has been participating in the Chain Game as a regular player for several years now and has taken over 200 Turns in the Grand Theft Auto III Chain Game, almost 200 Turns in the GTA Vice City Chain Game, has been participating in The Chain Game: San Andreas for over 10 Years and has also played in one of the few rounds of the GTA IV Chain Game. I'm sure that all players will agree he has been a pleasure to have around and provides entertaining turns for all of us to enjoy, and he knows well that I enjoy every single turn that he takes, and a Chain Game without him simply wouldn't be the same.

I admire all players who make a difference to our game and 123robot has made several of his own contributions to the game which have been helpful and greatly appreciated. He has regularly provided high quality feedback on several important Chain Game decisions and requests for feedback, regularly made suggestions for improvements to the game, and recently took the time to maintain the Chain Game Checklist in two Chain Game Rounds in which he did a great job.

With Round 85, I'd like to officially announce that 123robot is joining the Chain Game Staff as "Chain Game Assistant Chief" of both the Grand Theft Auto III and GTA Vice City Chain Game. Both TubewayArmy and I are very excited to have 123robot on board and I'm certain that he will continue to do a great job supporting the Chain Game in all of our rounds and plans for the future. Congratulations! :)

Thanks @TubewayArmy, @GTAKid667, and all of the Chain Game Players! It's great to be a part of the team! I never would have seen this coming even just a week ago, so this has been an extremely pleasant surprise, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity! I'm really excited to see what the future holds for the Chain Game and for myself during my time as staff, and I can't wait to continue supporting the Chain Game as much as I can, except now through the eyes of Assistant Chief. It's going to be so much fun!

Yep! Both of the modifications you mentioned are on the Acceptable Modifications list, so you're allowed to use both of those during your turn. Most information like this can be found in the Chain Game's opening posts, so you can read through those for more information on most things - in this instance, you can see the 'Exceptions to the No Modifications Rule' section for more information about the use of mods in Chain Game turns and what kinds of mods are permitted.

Also, as a reminder to all players, questions or queries about the Chain Game should always be kept to the Chain Game Lounge if you are not taking a turn so as not to clutter up the main round threads. Just want to make sure everyone is aware of this for future notice. Anyway, I hope this helps, @CoolMods! :)

Is it actually possible to obtain Rhino before Shoreside Vale / Arms Shortage? AFAIK Shoreside Vale unlocks 6 star wanted level, I may be incorrect.

The earliest you are able to obtain the Rhino is during Arms Shortage as far as I'm aware, which can be done before Shoreside Vale is unlocked. The 6 Star Wanted Level is available once you have visited Shoreside Vale after "Grand Theft Aero" when the island is unlocked as you mentioned. You can then also obtain the Rhino after the final mission "The Exchange" has been completed, as it spawns outside of Phil's Place in Staunton Island.

And welcome to the Chain Game @iguaan! Great to see you playing :)

How do we feel about failing a mission twice to get two of the special vehicles?

This is allowed, as long as you don't fail the mission any more times than necessary to collect the amount of Special Vehicles you desire. We will always allow Mission Failure as long as a Special Vehicle results from it, though I would suggest if you're collecting the same vehicle multiple times not to increase the Mission Attempts counter by too much, in this case two times is fine, but for example there's no need for anyone to fail five times or more if they're only collecting duplicate vehicles. Eventually I figured out that I can do this with just one failure, but it's good to know for future reference.

Theoretically, can I fail the final mission just to create an allproof Perennial?

It's a special vehicle just not unique since you can convert any vehicle.
