[Asi] Police Lights without Siren

I am aware that most police mods now have this feature built into them, I still like updating this as it further teaches me in coding. So if you want it, here you go!

Thanks to sjaak327 for showing me how to do this, I simply made it into its own mod

Version 1.3

- .ini Settings file

REQUIREMENTS:

Script Hook V .NET

https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net

INSTALL:

1. Install Script Hook V

2. Drag and drop "NoPoliceSiren.dll" and "SirenSettings" into scripts folder

3. Run GTA

USAGE:

1. Turn police siren on

2. Press "G"(default)

3. Once toggled, police siren will always be off, until toggled again

Question....What do i do with the Visual Studio 2013 x64 Redist after downloading it?

 

Also there are 3 files which one do i need?

 

Do i need to download that in order for the mod to work or is there another reaosn for it?

You probably don't even need it so if you have other .asi mods that work and you have never installed Visual Studio 2013 x64 Redist, then don't bother but if the mod doesn't work then I would install Visual Studio 2013 x64 Redist

So after messing around i found that just putting the asi. file into the directory doesn't turn off the sirens so it looks like you need to include the other stuff as well...

 

Out of curiosity do you know of any mods that allows you to add undercover police lights to your cars?

This really needs to have custom keys...also, it doesn't work all the time, and there's a sometimes a brief delay after pressing the key.
