Craigsters
You can play as a cop or tow vehicles or hunt wild life as Trevor I think these are never ending missions and then there is the tennis, golf and darts and stunts you can do as well, Owe you can go to Ammu-Nation and do target range shooting I'd post a youtube video showing how to play as a cop but there all using mods at youtube, someone posted a none mod youtube video here at gta forums a while back on how to play the game as a cop, but I can't find the thread for the like's of me with the video, sorry!.. bitsandpieces
Welcome to the forum. Best thing you can do is to: Start A New Game, ... and do things different from the fist time. Any mission that includeds 2 or more characters, start it with the other character, and not the same as the first time. Use different weapons and tactics etc... Enjoy! Lethal Vaccine
Use the Save Editor (PS3/Xbox360/PC) and spawn all the stuff from Online in Single Player. Example? Insurgent, Kuruma, Savage, Hydra in Single Player.

auntjeff
Test out certain vehicles, online/sp and see how much deformation they can take. You can get some wedged under the rear car of the train....some can go in between the train cars and you get drug sideways down the rails. Sometimes your leg will end up sticking out of the car or the wheels and a quarter of the vehicle will be below the terrain on the map when driving...it's pretty fun, especially with an unsuspecting passenger. motive8
Honestly, the best thing Ive figured out is just do things that normal people do. Come up with a day job for your character. Steal an 18 wheeler in Paleto Bay and haul a load to LS docks. Steal a cop car and run down speeders. Put on a clean suit, grab your silenced pistol and assassinate random rich guys in their back yard. The sky is the limit...hey, theres another one...steal a jumbo jet and fly around the map. Great way to up your flying skill. Use your imagination
lysander
I was wondering this and then I loaded up online mode! Wow what a lot of fun! So much to do, endless fun Even playing online on your own there's a lot to do.
combustion
Any game I play, I don't do the secondary activities till I finish the storyline. Also, I limit my gameplay sessions so I could take some more time to complete the story (and take care me eyesight). Right now, I replay some interesting missions, use different approaches, and am doing secondary missions and activities. Currently, I am also searching for Monkey Mosaics. Also, I hate the vehicles, so I even started modding. I have adjusted the settings of vehicles from the Airtug to Blazer. It will take some time, and by the time I'm done with all of the things, I'll get a new game! You can try improving your skills, mess around with the Director Mode and Rockstar Editor, recreate iconic stunts/chases, go on a melee killing spree, do side activities and missions, go on a offroad holiday, or get all the (remaining) protagonists into one car and do shootouts with them. HoleInTheSky
Go for the 100%. Don't rush, mind. It's half as fun when you whiz past. This alone should add many hours of gameplay. After that, just absorb the atmosphere, characters and proceed with your own mini story. Kinda like roleplay, just without the skill trees and prompts. GTA has always been a playground of chaos and randomness, making it quite easy to get lost in it all.
