Krysalis
Question for those who use AMD. I got a new PC today and i wonder about new AMD 15.6 Driver, thats made for Batman Arkham knight but what ever, i have R7 260X OC 2GB, and i wonder if anyone here uses this driver, and if any of you do, do you have any problems or improvements? Im kinda worried because my dad also uses my PC for working so im scared i might f*ck something up and end up in trouble, because he's an architect and uses AutoCAD, Atlantis Studio, Scatch UP and etc.. alot
ClareXoBearrx3R9
One possible solution would be to test it: install the driver updates, reboot, test if things work fine. If they don't, use the Rollback Driver feature.

guster-von
I am happy with the 15.6 Beta drivers thus far on the R9 270X. With the beta drivers I typically uninstall them completely then install the new one.

You'd be better off using something like DDU in safe mode to uninstall your current drivers before installing the new ones. A clean install is almost always better than an upgrade install. That is correct, you need not uninstall your old drivers. On the other hand, is said above, clean installs are better, but if you aren't interested in the hassle, uninstalling old drivers isn't necessary. Just keep in mind though that though it may be a hassle to uninstall first, it is safer. That is unfortunately the case with many things, including backups for instance.
