xbox one controller for windows, is it better then the 360 one?

Recommended Posts

My current USB Xbox 360 controller for windows need's replacing, it's taken to many fall's to the floor and it feel's off center and the A/B/X/Y buttons have lost there spring or feel!..

I seen the Xbox one wired USB controller for Windows at E.B. games for seventy four dollars CAD plus Canadian taxes, but that's pricey!..

Best buy Canada had the Xbox one wired USB controller for Windows for Fifty -nine dollars CAD plus taxes, the lowest price so far and I may go there on July 1st to purchase one

I had bad luck with the battery or wireless controllers for PC and alway's fault the where heavy in your hand and the batteries where getting expensive, even rechargeable ones!..

Should I stick with the 360 controller or go with the new xbox one controller?

thanks Craig

Apparently it's more comfortable to hold. I've only held it twice before at an official MS store.. I guess you could say it feels more durable and also it doesn't feel like it's made out of plastic, but instead has a nice quality feel.

If you find a good deal, go for it.

Even though there is a port put out by Windows for the XB1 controller, It tends to disconnect quite a bit and unlike the X360 controller you have to wait up to 20 seconds after disconnection before the controller will disconnect again so if you do a lot of gaming it isn't really worth spending $60 on it right now.

I'd invest in a new 360 controller, In fact i just bought a new one myself dispite the fact that i own an XB1 so i could use the XB1 controller but had so many disconnect it make it almost impossible to play and always disconnected at the worse time.

Just so you know, Don't be fooled by the "Wired" part as it's not a wired connected controller it's a wireless controller with a Micro-USB cord that plugs into your PC unlike the 360 controller which are actually wired.
