Its heaps different! it also KICKS THE sh*t OUTTA VC!!!! Leprachaun if u liked the demo, seriously buy this game, i bought it and i had more fun in the missions then i did with Vice City. The Getaway was started as soon as the PS2 came out... it was thought to be a lauch game or late launch game.. but as u see it took "alittle" longer. BUT R* still had the idea of a free roaming city and workn for the mob with GTA 1 2 and London it just wasnt in 3D yet. so some might say the getaway is a rip off some might say its not.. but i say its not casue it a differnt kinda game. Every FPS had a prodecessor, every movie has some inspirational material... the world is one big copy of everything and anything. (Midtown madness - driver, see what I mean?)
