Unlocking Gold Wheels?

Hello! Sorry if this topic has been brought up before, but a few days ago I bought a Windsor and I wanted to put gold rims on it but it said I have to win 14 more races in this class. So I did about 5 runs of Dorset Drive (non-contact turned on) with some randoms, but it still says I gotta win 14 more races. So does that mean that I have to win 14 standard races with contact on? Cuz I honestly prefer racing with contact off.

Also do impromptu races count?

Welcome to the Forums

I believe you only unlock those by doing the standard races, if it still doesn't count you might want to consider a support ticket to R*.

no

You aren't helping here.

Awww, well that really stinks. Thanks for the quick answer though!

You have to win 1st place in a race with at least 1 other player competing in order for them to count, if you win using a custom vehicle to race, it counts towards all vehicle classes (unless they changed that at some point in a patch)

Impromptu races do not count but sea and air races do, also for all classes of vehicle.

Contact/non contact shouldn't make a difference

A yes or no question requires a yes or no answer. Take a class in logic and reasoning if you don't understand why.

Just saying no without even showing what part of the OP you are referring to makes you look like you are saying no to the entire thread, that he will never unlock gold wheels or something. Just some advice.
