Ths Sandking used to spawn at the car park beside Ammunation in Paleto Bay around 12:00 but was supposed to be removed from the game according to previous posts in other topics, the only thing outside LSC normally is the yellow RatLoader. The next day I was able to sell again This is a stupid "fix" it isn't like people get mega rich selling cars off the street. Ah, now that's interesting, sounds like they tried to implement the daily limit but as per usual R* programming it's not working as it should and bugging out until you character switch. I am on my slot 2 character so will see what happens with the main character that sold all the cars yesterday when I switch back to them shortly. CarimboHanky Posted June 21, 2015 Share Posted June 21, 2015 im not much of a street car seller but im willing to test this car limit thing. today ill start the test, will post what cars i sold, the amount of money i got and how many cars i got to sell before i hit the limit. will try to run the test a couple days selling different cars to see if its a cash cap or car amount cap. UPDATE! yesterday i had a couple of long sessions, managed to sell 6 off the street cars without hitting the limit. for this test i robbed cars parked right outside the main lsc. cheval surge=3,800 emperor habanero=4,200 bravado gauntlet=3,200 canis seminole=3,000 karin dilettante=2,500 bravado gresley=2,900 total=19,600 apart from this i bought and sold 10 rebels back to back without any limit. today ill do the test again, this time ill try to find some gang cars to make the test. i shall report the result tomorrow. UPDATE!! yesterday i only had time to sell 5 cars and still didnt hit the limit... gang peyote=12940 gang peyote=12940 gang peyote=12940 baller=9000 baller=9000 total=56,820 i think the new system is really bugged and would pop the limit at random. i dont think its a money cap, i mean close to 60k by stealing and selling some cars off the street still some decent money. Switch to my second character and they can sell street cars normally. So annoying, it's hurting my session income for sure. I used to be able to sell a few cars off in between missions/ heists, but this has killed that. I sent a ticket to Rockstar explaining the problem, and they told me that I have to wait every 48 minutes to sell a car. No sh*t, reading comprehension is not their strong suit. That was one of the easiest ways to make quick cash back in the day. JuanG12 Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 (edited) I think the daily limit for street cars is 6. Last week I was selling 2-4 cars a day without a problem. Saturday and Sunday I sold the 4 Ballers I usually sell and wanted to keep going to see if I would encounter the error. I received the error on Saturday when I tried to sell the 7th Baller. On Sunday, I sold the 6 Ballers and didn't bother looking for a 7th. I just stole a random car, went to LSC, tried to sell it and I received the error again. I think Rockstar patched selling more than 6 cars a day and the system was bugged in the process. I don't think their target(s) were people that dupe cars, in that case they would've added a timer or limit to PVs, but it's only on street cars. So it's more than likely a bug and some people can't sell cars at all, but I do think they intended to add a 6 car a day limit. Blankerz Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 (edited) As I mentioned it happened to me last weekend, the cap lasted around 36 hours but I haven't had the issue since, sadly all I can tell you is I did nothing different (other than selling cars) whilst I waited it out. I didn't alter my 3 full garages during the cap, I didn't sell anything from them or change anything. I did not switch to my other character (haven't since the last update actually). I did however stay in a game long enough (48mins - 1 game day) to pay my mechanic and cleaner if that matters... However I haven't sold any modded vehicles since the cap lifted which leads me to believe the cap has something to do with how much cash you make from selling off the street cars... I'm sure I sold one or two modded XS/dominators (along with some felon/felon GT/Ballers) to activate my cap and considering they are worth nearly 3 times the value of regular street cars....? After 2 days I can't sell any npc cars I decided to sold my Bifta (all my 3 garages is full) and stole any npc car on the street and stored it on my garage, and drive it back to LSC and at this point I can sell this stolen car (reguler Dominator). I go out from LSC, found the Baller and replace the Dominator with Baller, go back to LSC to sell the Baller and the problem is gone. I sold five cars every 48 minutes this method. THIS ^^^ just tried this and works now thanks mate Ahh, so this might be why it hasn't affected me. I almost always put my cars into garages for storage after grabbing them off the street. About the only time that I go directly from jacking the car to selling it is if, say I'm halfway to LSC with a Cavalcade or the like, and I see a Baller or Felon driving that I can take without breaking the window.
