I'm surprised they haven't fixed car duping glitches by stopping us sell cars completely, or entering our own garages. I swear if there was a money-making glitch that involved going to the cinema they'd just stop the clocks after 10pm (when the cinema closes) and call it a feature. They are sh*t at fixing problems, mainly because they slapped this game together with spotty college leavers and inexperienced idiots. The amount of minor issues is bad enough - that alone would have me looking for another job. It's just f*cking sh*t. This game gets worse and worse and I'm getting less and less interested in this game as time goes on. they would not be having to fix this stuff in every patch, if the cheating scumbags in this game would for once in their sorry lives quit cheating their way through everything. Blame it on the losers that suck at the game so bad that they have to cheat to be able to feel almighty about themselves. So blame the moron cheaters for the condition that the game is in and not Rockstar. it's stuff like the new daily limit that has effectively screwed over the legit players (the players that can actually play a video game without having to hack/mod/glitch/cheat), myself included. I can't sell my topless Coquette now thanks to a glitch (that Rockstar refuses to address) caused by a fix Rockstar had to put into place because of the idiots duping adders. Every time these morons cheat, mod, hack, and glitch stuff into the game causing Rockstar to have to patch stuff, it is not only screwing the legit players over big time, but it is a direct cause of Rockstar having to neglect other issues, so they can do everything they possibly can to keep control over the cheaters. I have tried for 4 days periodically, and every time I try to sell a vehicle I get the "You have reached your daily limit to sell vehicles" message. If I am currently living on Venus (which has a 243 earth day rotation cycle) please let me know and I will wait accordingly. Thanks to this topic now I know I'm not alone. The good news is I'm so freaking rich I could honestly care less. I just enjoy the piss out of shooting drivers in a variety of ways and selling their blood splattered cars. I know I haven't modded or hacked anything, aside from being gifted money, god when was that? It was so long ago. (switched it to the bone since). Well, I have played a few modded races. The limit does only apply to street cars from what we know. I had a full day in game yesterday and I was in free roam for most of it doing random events and selling Sentinal XS or Felon GT's every 48 minutes. I cannot recall exactly how many I sold but I am sure it was 4-5 vehicles and then I started criminal mastermind heist challenge and immediately during those heists got the message you have reached your daily limit for selling vehicles. So my twist is what if it's not the number of vehicles your selling but the overall amount of income you have made in the day? I am going to test this further tonight/tomorrow and report back. Just throwing my thoughts into the mix and trying to determine the triggers for what prevents car selling off the street. Yours is most definetly bugged though as 6 days seems a very long time for daily limit the only reason I can think this might still be in place is if the game counts HPV as car sales off the street or if web car sales also affect this. I'm working just now so have not gone online today yet but I'/m sure I last sold a car at about 8pm UK time last night so if its a 24 hour rule like a car list "technically" I should be able to sell again from tnen, I will see. As I said I'm going to do some testing on this over the rest of the weekend and see if I can figure it out. CarimboHanky Posted June 20, 2015 Share Posted June 20, 2015 im not much of a street car seller but im willing to test this car limit thing. today ill start the test, will post what cars i sold, the amount of money i got and how many cars i got to sell before i hit the limit. will try to run the test a couple days selling different cars to see if its a cash cap or car amount cap. UPDATE! yesterday i had a couple of long sessions, managed to sell 6 off the street cars without hitting the limit. for this test i robbed cars parked right outside the main lsc. cheval surge=3,800 emperor habanero=4,200 bravado gauntlet=3,200 canis seminole=3,000 karin dilettante=2,500 bravado gresley=2,900 total=19,600 apart from this i bought and sold 10 rebels back to back without any limit. today ill do the test again, this time ill try to find some gang cars to make the test. i shall report the result tomorrow. alkaline_ and Tails Prower 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

elfoam Posted June 20, 2015 Share Posted June 20, 2015 We the customers are the ones to suffer AGAIN ,cos rockstar saw this method as a piss easy fix to money glitches , lazy c*nts i fail to see what money glitches they prevent with this... money glitches like car dupes are done using a rebel bought from the website which bypass the 48mins cooldown. people can dupe and sell all day without cooldown since the rebel "untaint" the dupe. If that's the case, then it seems like it would be very easy for Rockstar to add a garage check script that could tell when one vehicle magically changed into another without being purchased or was added to an empty garage spot without being purchased. This would probably only work for cars that can't be stolen and stored off the street, but I doubt very seriously that low end vehicles are the types of cars that money glitchers are duping anyway. before the hookers glitch a handful of duling glitches required a rebel, but since the hookers every duping glitch uses a rebel to untaint and bypass. im sure a garage script could be made but R* seem to take the easy way out by limiting car sales which only affect 2 types of players, the noobs and the legits. This change as explained above has zero effect on car cloning and sell. To be fair why would rockstar bother with guys that have 100mil. They are never going to buy a sucker card anyway. I use stolen cars and store robberies to get back in the air. When I'm in a lobby with me crew, I'll keep a fat bankroll so i can dominate the opposition with no downtime. Exactly what I wanted to hear from you, you have now confirmed it is worth sacrificing a car to overcome a limitation R* have placed on my car selling income - my main source of income in game alongside heists. I would have done exactly that switch to 2nd character but there are some days where I don't want to be bothered changing characters and as I am doing heist Criminal Mastermind its far too much of an inconvienience at the moment.
