I always played on a 28' LCD 1080p tv with my ps4/x1 now I got this thing it only goes up to 1080i is that good?

also plasma tv owners is it me or the quality improved on gta v when hook up on the samsung.

lastly I noticed that I have these blue sparkles when using the HDMI component when playing too long but when i switch to tv mode its just fine no sparkles.

thanks.

I don't think 1080i is native. The larger the display, the more likely you are to see the pixels if the resolution doesn't increase along with the TV's size. If you think it looks better, then it is good for you.

Sparkles?

I don't know much about tech, but either there is a problem with the HDMI or you just found out why they were willing to give up the TV in a raffle.

plasma tvs tends to have screen burn in most of the time

oh...is there a way to remedy that?

Placing the TV away from any windows or near an AC should do it.

Other than that, no, it's a fatal flaw of Plasmas. It's why most TV's today are LCD or LED

can i put a fan next to the tv? my ac isnt one of those windows ones. Edited by Quinn_flower

How would an AC prevent screen burning? Screen burns are produced if you leave the TV showing a static image for a long time, just don't leave the game on pause or in the menu while going away for dinner and you'll be fine.
