"Liberty Rock Radio 97.8 FM"

So, yeah, played some GTA and it gotta be my favorite radio station in the GTA Series, together with Radio X from SA and K-DST.

The mixture of Classic Rock, Pop Rock, Hard Rock and Metal gotta be the best selection of songs in a game ever, imo.

LSRR was good, but it didn't feature much metal and hard rock which disappointed me, but well, LRR is the best rock station in the HD universe IMO.

I preferred EFLC's version tbh, but it was still a great station in IV too.

EDIT: Why the f*ck did they remove Judas Priest's Breaking The Law? It fits perfectly.

Couldn't agree more . I preferred EFLC's version too . Too bad they removed ''Ace of Spades'' ''The Trooper'' and ''Kickstart My heart''

The music in GTA IV is fine, I don't see any problems with it. And of course, there's the best songs from the game that I'll remember, especially from the trailers.

Sh*t, wished they'd've kept Changin' Times. Damn good song.

Both iterations are some of my top favourite Radio Stations in the Games.

I really like both iterations of Liberty Rock Radio. I just prefer the IV version a bit. Cry, Mama, One Vision. All great songs IMO.

One Vision by Queen is my favorite along with 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins.

I love just about every song from GTA IV & EFLC renditions of Liberty Rock Radio. The more depressing songs such as "Edge of Seventeen", "Cry" & "1979" really fit after the sad "Deal" ending.

This thread should be called The Liberty Rock Radio 97.8 appreciation Thread.

I decided not to call it that because I don't wanna get warned :p

As much as I love LRR I'm more fond of Fusion and The Vibe. However these are my most listened to stations.:)

Ok you got me.;)

The Edge is my favourite on Fusion. As for LRR it's gotta be Rocky Mountain Way and Wanted Dead Or Alive (TLAD).

"1979" makes me think of when I go bowling with Roman. It's usually one of the most played songs at Memory Lanes.:)

I never actually listened to the radio in-game, but I have listened to all songs as a playlist on my computer. Definitely a great radio station (it even has my favorite band in it... well, TLAD) :)

My favorite GTA radio stations are V-Rock, Radio X, K-DST, Liberty Rock Radio, and Los Santos Rock Radio (although I was a bit disappointed by the latter).

You would definitely love V-Rock from Vice City if you haven't heard it.

Playlist:

Twisted Sister - "I Wanna Rock" (1984)

Mötley Crüe - "Too Young to Fall in Love" (1983)
Quiet Riot - "Cum On Feel the Noize" (1983)
The Cult - "She Sells Sanctuary" (1985)
Ozzy Osbourne - "Bark at the Moon" (1983)
Love Fist - "Dangerous Bastard" (Unknown. 2002 in real world)
Iron Maiden - "2 Minutes to Midnight" (1984)
Loverboy - "Working for the Weekend" (1981)
Alcatrazz - "God Bless Video" (1985)
Tesla - "Cumin' Atcha Live" (1986)
Autograph - "Turn Up the Radio" (1984)
Megadeth - "Peace Sells" (1986)
Anthrax - "Madhouse" (1985)
Slayer - "Raining Blood" (1986)
Judas Priest - "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" (1982)
Love Fist - "Fist Fury" (Unknown. 2002 in real world)

David Lee Roth - "Yankee Rose" (1986)

Only as a playlist. Believe it or not, I actually knew most VCS songs from V-Rock, and they were already in my "Favorites" folder :catloaf:

I like Vice City's V-Rock better as a compilation.
