How prepared are you for racing?

I know how to follow a turning/racing line.

Not prepared at all. Couldn't care less, as much as I love cars, I don't race in this game.

I'm pretty much prepared for all classes, with my dedicated race cars all painted in the same scheme.

Although occasionally I do use my other cars to race with, especially if the competition isn't very strong.

I'm somewhat prepared but I care too much about cars to just have whatever is the fastest, I have to have one that I like.

 

Super: Zentorno - I actually like the way this thing drives and the way you can rotate it with the brake. Just a bonus that it's fastest.

Sports: Massacro - I like the looks the way it drives better than the other options, and the racing Massacro's livery looks awful so I stick with this one. Thought about getting a racing Jester but I can't justify the garage space since I'm plenty competitive with the Massacro.

Muscle: Dominator - Not a Mustang fan but I do like how it drives, it's just a shame that even muscle races are rare now so I'm sorta rusty with it.

Sports Classic: Coquette Classic - Before the update it was always good enough for me, even though it isn't the fastest in the class, most people suck balls at driving the classics so it was easy to win with most of the time. Shame Rockstar decided to ruin the class by making the Stirling so OP.

Coupe: Felon sedan - I keep mine without the wing but it's still been good to me, and it's a great car for missions and looks great.

Sedan: Fugitive - I don't like the Schafter with it's sh*tty sound and lame tucked wheels, so I go with this. Probably nine times out of ten it's good enough.

Compact: Panto - I don't like compact cars, so I only have it because it's fun to drive places that cars aren't supposed to go. Just a bonus that's it's good enough for most random races.

SUV: Granger - Not very good but I can't justify the space for a Huntley S. SUV races are rare anyway.

Motorcycle: Bati - I don't care much for motorcycles so I just got one that could do double duty for racing and stunts.

 

I have nothing for vans anymore since I sold my Gang Burrito to make space for the Virgo, and have never had anything for utility.

YES. Sports classic racing is finished, all that remains is Stirling races with spectators driving behind. It's a Zentorno reskinned to look like a classic. Sad.

Fastest car is not that important to me, just like to drive cars I think look cool and feel good. Well, it must be at least competitive in some way, but the best is not necessary for me.

 

Besides, lots of players leave catch-up and slipstream on anyway, then you might as well race stock... Then again, most players leave it on because otherwise they will lose anyway... Unfortunately, the majority thinks racing is putting your pedal down instead of focussing on corners and maintaining momentum.

Definitely well prepared, if not very. Regardless since most people can't corner worth crap and I like actual races, not huge straights, my W/L is stupidly high. Oh, and because if you set it to sports, this happens:

 

 

 

Well, just because your fast doesn't mean you can just ram others off the road. Might make you win, but makes you look like a c*ck... I would leave that lobby instantly seeing you do that, but maybe thats just me overreacting as usual

If I'm overlapping someone and they don't move out of the way (blue flag), then I will not care and happily ram them off the road.

The Stirling GT is way more damaging to the sports classic class than the Zentorno was to the super class. In the super class the Entity and Turismo (and now Osiris) are still in the hunt at least.

I cant vote on the poll because I don't own a Bison, I own a gang burrito. But yes I have the top vehicles in every class. At the moment they are only upgraded aesthetics-wise but I will get around to upgrading their performance sometime.

I used to have the best in class for everything buy now I only own cool cars so I often enter races in sub par cars. It doesn't matter to me anymore because I know I'm no carrying around dead weight unfun cars in my garage just to win a race once in a blue moon. I felt so sorry for the 3000 wins 3000 loses racer guy last night who pulled a shafter out in a sedan race, sure he won the the race but my pink glendale with roofracks won the awesome competition and 2nd place at the same time.

 

Do they have a Vans class for PS3? I haven't seen it and looked through dozens of different races for it.

You need to make a race with a large size grid to have vans enabled, not many races do. But you can certainly make them. Pity most of the fast vans other than the gang van got blacklisted on the last patch so it kind of ruined a very close and fun class.

The only fast "vans" are not blacklisted

 

The gang burrito, bison, youga, Bobcat xl and minivan are all storable lol

Previous to the heist patch the deludamol, burrito, speedo and bison were all within half a second of each other, it was a really good thing until the gang burrito and blacklist ruined it.
