If you fail when trying to get to the boat your kuruma disappears from the garage

That happened to me.

I went to Tinsel Towers Apt. 29 and drove out with my Kuruma. Someone died seconds later and we had to restart. Went to my garage again and the Kuruma was missing. Went outside, then back inside, and nothing. Didn't want to take another car, so I just did it with the motorcycle. lol

PS3 by the way.

That's why I have my Insurgent in the same garage (the one right beside the bikes that is). I've never had to use it though. Edited June 24, 2015 by C64fanatic

This is really simple guys, there is no reason what so ever to be going off on silly little detours on train tracks, there is also no reason to be getting SWAT vehicles or helicopters.

 

Simply watch my video how me and 3 friends do it regularly. This works every single time, without fail. Simply get on the bikes, all drive by the apartment, all get off, stay close to guy who owns the apartment and it will invite you in. Now simply all get in the Kuruma, follow the route ALL THE WAY, there is no reason to skip checkpoints and getting to the boat with police on your tail getting shot and losing money.

 

My method, and probably other peoples way of doing it too. We had a quick restart as someone killed them self when using rocket launcher while exiting the bank, most people have done or seen this by now.

Tips....

 

* You let one person take the cash, one person only, you are making it harder for yourself by splitting it, then 2 guys will have to cover 2 people, one person carrying cash means he can stay back while 3 dudes clear up

 

* Have a decent driver, don't get a retard driver who crashes into everything, you are also in no rush, brake when you see police and go around them, no need to be racing like a maniac you have plenty of time.

 

* If you get to the apartment and it doesn't let you in then one of the guys who is not carrying cash simply kills them self, you lose no cash and will start back at the bikes, rinse and repeat until you can enter the apartment.

 

* Do not use the Insurgent, it is slow and sh*tty and the windows can be shot through easily

 

* The other 2 guys not carrying cash are free to go on the bikes if they wish, just make sure they can get to the end without dying and by making sure they hit all check points to save them bringing loads of police by you when you are waiting in the dingy

 

 

This is the only way I will ever do it, because this way has always worked best, it works every single time and we get maximum amount of money never losing more than 20/30K, find a guy who is good at avoiding getting shot and you can have the full 1.25 every single time.

Come on. There's a difference between controlling your own bike (and realizing that the AI is easily tricked) and the swim and climb into boat animation while getting shot at by cops (which you can very little about.)

 

Oh, and nobody believes that you beat bikes to the boat in a Kuruma unless you were playing with some serious noobs with eyesight problems.

Great video, best I've ever seen, however there are a few imperfections IMO so im gonna tell you my method:

 

Obviously avoid shooting cops after bikes to not gain more than 2 stars until the end, money sit in back row and hold dodge at all times

 

You can drive straight to wooden bridge after the first 2 checkpoints out of tunnel instead of the GPS route, through the cult camp and avoid the long rugged path, there's the corner closest to bridge with a little bush which you can partially drive through in cult camp where all cars(sedan) can climb over red rocks and get around the wooden wall which save a LOT of time, you dont even need a lot of speed to climb over but need to be careful to not completely flip over and lose money if you are driving a car, works great for bikes too.

 

After the parachute checkpoint, instead of trying to drop down, I turn back and cross the wooden bridge again then immediately turn right and descend following the mountain slope which is much safer than the drop (seeing you took your time to make adjustments to the car I take it there's a likelyhood of flipping over), there's a fail timer of course but more than enough to get the the narrow part which you should know is the hardest part to not lose control. turning left and driving around to the slope from the parachute point on the east side of bridge also works, same thing basically driving down along the natural slope instead of trying to jump down.

 

3 heavy utility vests, 1 help take cops behind, 2 take front:grenade launcher and any gun, need to at least clear the cops around the wall climbing section, your money guy got lucky he didnt get shot between 1st and 2nd wall since the cops are not fully cleared yet. That's where people get shot most of the time, also there will be a few more cops instantly spawn here if you kill 1 hostage regardless if you didn't trigger the alarm

You can easily beat the bikes to the boat if you use the Ocean Highway, regardless of poor vision.

Read my earlier post. You can't just do your own thing. Kuruma escape disciples ruin it for others (even when they are not hosting) by bringing cops to the boat. I'm still hoping that R* patches this and takes this silly option away.

You are playing with n00bs or your friends suck. It's easy to make it to the boat in the Kuruma without attracting the police. Just hide in the canyon near the dinghy. Also why are you so opposed to how others play the game? Why do you give a f*ck. Are you one of those wierdo's who also hate gay marriage even though it probably doesn't affect you? I think you should just let it go cause Rockstar ain't patching sh*t. They would've by now. There's been a full update since Heists and no patch yet.

Back when I did CM my friends couldn't get in my car but 2 of my friends got in the same car, which I couldn't enter for some reason. Sometimes it allows me to enter right away, other times it doesn't let me until we go a distance away.

Nothing has changed since the last patch.

 

The safest thing to do is get everyone in the apartment and then you won't have a problem.

 

It has always, since day 1, been hit and miss if you go alone to the appartment and take your car out whether other players will be able to get in or not. The distance the other players are away from the bike spawn when you take the Karuma out seems to be the key factor, but I haven't fully tested cause and effect.

Yes, if people would just understand, that the method where everybody gets into the apartment closest to the bikes - right next to them - and enters a car inside the apartment, works every single time. There is no chance involved. If done correcty it always works - period!! And it is the safest method of them all.

 

What this guy said, we did it tonight and it worked perfectly.

I thought I made it obvious I was playing with n00bs with the comment that they didn't listen, got shot and were slow as hell.

 

That being said though, it's not hard to beat the bikes if you have an upgraded Kuruma, take the Caida Libre path and train tracks and then cut over the mountain to the jump point.

 

You really overrate the Lectro. That bike is average at best, even with KERS. You have stock in Principe or something?

Whoever says taking the armored car ruins the heist is an idiot. if you just follow the route set for you and jump off the cliff, with the car and not gettng out, its the same thing as parachuting from ur bikes. it gets rid of the cops and you dont take damage. If ur driver isn't an idiot anyways and can land on its wheels.

Seeing as the person above bumped this thread, this method hasn't been patched yet. I done the Pac Standard final today and someone had a Kuruma. I prefer the bikes since the jump off the cliff looks better.

You're the champ, you proudly ride the bike while everyone is on the boat waiting for you to parachute off the cliff, because they all took the Kuruma, and at least they kept all $1,250,000 while you would've got shot a few times (but god forbid you die because you're the bike champ) and came out with a minimum of $900,000.

If you spent a whole evening repeating trying to save Avi Motherf*cking Schwartzman with randoms, the next day you text 2 minutes to a dense Spaniard who no hablas english to get out of your white van, get the truck blown at least 3 times and in the end, you gather 2 competent friends and 1 random who basically says "fuсk your Kuruma i want BIKE ADVENTURE! OH I FAILED! XDDD", then you will gain very little understanding from me.

It's not a glitch.

You are always free to take any other vehicle than the bike, even if it is in your garage. Same with the choice of your route.

It's not that a little red timer starts to beep when you stray off your bike escape route.

Also, it's not cheating. Don't be the asshole that steps on their bike and dies. Just get in the f*cking car and collect your money quickly!

Not true when I did it before! OMG!

No one can enter the vehicle when you're outside. You have to buzz everyone in then go to your garage to get in the Kuruma.

 

Gotcha.

 

 

 

I did it 3x yesterday driving the car out and letting the others get in. So no, this hasn't been patched.

 

What has changed is that it won't let me buzz people into the apartment any longer so they can avoid gun fire, AND you can no longer go down the highway and drive to the boat. If you don't hit the check points in Chilead Park, the game will time out. I, unfortunately, learned this after 5 failed attempts and a phone call to Rock Star.

 

Let me also say the restrictions/patches/glitches, whatever you want to call them are not functioning consistently.

 

Sometimes I go into my garage and the Kuruma simply isn't there (this despite the fact that I pulled it into the garage and walked out before starting the heist to save it in the garage).

 

I had a series of times when we blew up the bikes to do a quick restart to get the dude with the cash back to the bikes and out of the bank, and it sent us all back to the bank. The second time we did it, it worked fine.

 

And I also was able to drive down the highway and miss the check points 1 time out of 6. So my experience tells me that when some say they can't get others into their car, and others say "I've had no problems with this," you are both probably correct.
