OurJud Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Why am I suddenly getting a heap of 'hints and tips' popping up in the top left of the screen since the update, telling me how to do things I've been doing for years? I reached 100% months ago and now use the game HUD-free for free-roaming and RP, but everytime I get in a car I'm told how to do drive-bys and even how to change the damn radio station? How can a company that creates such incredible games, be so utterly incompetent when it comes to their updates?? If I ever get this latest list of bugs and glitches fixed, it'll be the last time I connect to the internet when playing the game. No more updates for me... they're f*cking useless! Hopefully. I remember there was a glitch where the tip saying "Press (this button) to duck in a vehicle" kept popping up, but Rockstar fixed it, because after the update it didn't pop up anymore. So we have to wait another six months for them to release a patch to fix bugs that their last update caused. Dear, Rockstar, allow me to save you millions of pounds and man-hours with this simple tip: Make sure your updates aren't littered with bugs and glitches before releasing. You're welcome. First Hints and Tips appearing Several times Resolution for this is to clear cache of your PS4 console. Press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller. Select "Turn Off PS4". Let the PlayStation 4 to fully power down and wait for 10 to 20 seconds. Restart the PlayStation 4. If turning the damn PS4 off and back on was the answer, the problem would have fixed itself by the second time I played the game. Do they think I just loaded up the game and left it switched on for days while I waited for an answer from them?? Unbelievable stupidity! Although it's only been happening since the update, which points to that being the problem. Chances are you leave it in standby mode and do not turn it off completely. No, I never leave my PS4 in standby. I go to the dashboard and select 'Turn off PS4'. Unless there's another way of turning it off more completely.
