Daniol
Cache won't change anything if your CPU is weak. What CPU do you want to buy?
PCMasterRace46
Not sure about cache but your spelling isn't enuff...Get an i7 and all your worries will be gone. Edited June 13, 2015 by PCMasterRace46

Thalyn
Will be gone ? ... Why ?... The new i7 5775C (3.3 Ghz) have a 6MB cache (instead 8Mb at least for other i7).In fact, there isn't recent AMD CPU with 6MB cache (they have 8MB at least, i think). Then i suppose, this PC have a i5 CPU (because every i5 have 6MB cache, except the new i5 5675C with 4Mb).The news i7 5775C (6MB L3 cache) and i5 5675C (4MB L3 cache) use a smaller L3 cache, because it's a new production technology (0.014µ instead 0.022µ for other i3, i5 and i7).This allows (from Intel) to have better performances (calculations), with the same Wattage but with a lower frequency (than the previous i5/i7 in the same category). In this case the L3 cache have to be smaller (due the lower frequency) than the previous i5 or i7 and have at least equal performances (and in fact allows for Intel to provide soon other new CPUs with this technology, under the name "second generation" with a 6MB cache for the next i5 and 8Mb cache for the next i7... lol)In fact buy a CPU just for its "Ghz", or just for its category "iX" or just for its cache is not very smart. An i5 stay very good for games, but if you have the budget a i7 is very nice. If you need to have a multipurpose PC, then (if you have the budget) buy a i7 (or Xeon, from the Xeon E3-1245V3).Have a CPU with low frequency and high cache is totally useless.L1 Cache: Small and fastL2 cache: big and slowerL3 cache: bigger and very slow.More the L3 cache is bigger, more your CPU have to be very powerful and with hi frequency (Ghz).. for gaming. Personally I think, if you buy a new PC "today" for gaming, it must to have a i5 4460 at least, i5 4590 (without "S"), i5 4670K (or without K) or higher, and for a i7, at least a i7 3770K, or 4770 ("K" or not) or higher. [EDIT] Intel® core i5 4690K and GTX 970 just saying It's ok, don't worry... it's "enuff"!In fact here, the CPU isn't a problem. You have the time before to be bottlenecked (lol).Your GPU is more limited (but it's very good!) but don't expect to run GTA V/Online in ultra with it (every new unoptimized games will run in ultra.. except this wonderful optimized GTA V/Online...).If you can, buy a 980 then let's go. Otherwise, you can wait for the future 1000 series (will be out at the earliest in the middle of 2016 I think, or maybe early 2016).
