Solo players, how are you making your money?

My best advice is to get a garage near the gang spawns and get a Tornado PV. More consistent spawn than Ballers or Felons, and you make $12.5k per car. That little extra cash adds up if you do it as much as possible.

Other than that I just grind Fleeca and a few missions. I usually play Denial of Service, Trash Talk, Cleaning the Cat House, and Water the Vineyard. I use a Buzzard and go for speed runs. I'd rather just repeat the missions as fast as possible than waste time trying to get the max payout.

I don't have a Dubsta 2, so I can't get any to spawn. From what I've read, they're hard to get to spawn even if you have one already. I've never had much luck with the Sandkings, either.

Your mileage may vary, of course. I recommend the Tornados because the gang variants have a lot of spawn points, plus there's the unaffiliated version (same mods and sell price, but grey and driven by non-gang members) that has its own seperate spawn points in the same areas.

Currently while I do things IRL I have my GTA loaded up and I'm just hovering in my Hydra doing all the random free roam events (except HPV) and I've made $345,524 in the past 2 hours.

I think my next big purchase will be a Hydra so I can do exactly this.

Missions, solo races, delivering vehicles to Simeon, selling vehicles to LSC,store robberies, armored van robberies, shooting down aircraft for Trevor, destroying the drug dealer vehicle for Gerald, getting bounties for stealing NPC cars and not having anyone killing me...

Fail_At_GTA

I hovered in my Hydra for 6 hours in an invite only session by myself doing nothing but random events, except Simeon's HPV. In the 6 hours I made just shy of $800,000. That means free roam activities are roughly $130,000 per hour and they take minimal effort in a Hydra.

I still just play for fun. If I am doing missions solo, I'll usually just pick the hardest one and look for a new way to complete it. That can result in abysmal earnings per hour, but again, as long as I'm profiting overall, rate of accumulation is of little concern.

Metal Slime

After a couple of days, I manage to save enough to buy the Osiris. Felt satisfied getting it without the need of glitching.

Why grind? Damn near every session has a modder spraying moneybags these days

Except for PS4/X1 owners. We don't see any modders around, and thank goodness for that especially after the mess from the PS3/360 version. All I have to watch out for are glitchers such as wall breaches and god mode-like randoms. Edited by Zonnex

Mission runs, doing survivals, claiming bounties, racing and playing capture (Yeah, that's right, I actually play capture).

I still grind Crystal Clear Out III with a Buzzard. Never lost my bookmark for that mission.

Hiests on call for me, like a hired gun. Jump in, do the missions and go. If lucky I land a final or get invited back, or just take what I can from the set ups.

Or with 1 other person, Fleeca's can be done quickly for 72k if split 50/50 (plus more if you don't host the set ups)

i have made a little bit off of heist, but i get basicly all my money from the usual things (hpv, simeon list, armored trucks, gang attacks, robbing stores, stealing/selling vehicles, etc...) and more to make now with the new objectives and stuff. i have made 2/3 of my money just from stealing cars and have all i want and can always get the money to get something if i don't have it at the time. unless you have pretty much just started playing, i just do not see how anyone after this long can complain about not having money. unless your just PvPing in freeroam all the time, which still does not give people room to complain. imo you can't bitch about not having money if you're not making it.

point being money is actually very easy to make in GTA, only thing is how willing you are to go get it.

KashKashMania

And remember to sell a Gallivanter Baller ($9000) or modded Vapid Peyote ($12940) every 45 minutes.

Why are you selling ballers when you can sell both the Felon GT and Sentinel convertibles for $9500?

Ballers and gang vehicles tend to spawn more common for most players.

Random events in invite only sessions and survivals with random people.

To each their own, but IMO survivals are a waste of time.

Top up snacks and armor then ring Gerald for my 1st mission, then grind the follow on missions. As another poster said 100K and one rank for about an hour of play. Favourite missions are No Hay Bronca, Los Santos Connection, all the Blow Ups, Hard Labor.

Like the new Lester contact distraction side mission, easy money for hanging around, and the take out the target vehicle from the latest update.

I always used to farm the Dubsta 2s but ever since the heists update they died out. I farm the Sentinels now.
