Solo players, how are you making your money?

I know there are a lot of us that for whatever reason haven't joined an active crew, or don't have friends that we play with.

Me personally, I've been grinding missions like Ballas To The Wall, Blow Up, Blow Up 2 and waiting for about 15 minutes to get maximum RP/GTA$. I'm also doing the random spawn missions in Invite Only sessions (Smuggler Helis/Planes, Target Cars, Simeon Deliveries).

So my question is, how are you making your money?

Grinding the Madrazo missions where you just have to shoot a guy in his car and steal a breifcase (Editor and Thief, and Out of Court Settlement), which happen to be my favorite. Gotten it to the point that I can kill the dude, grab the evidence, and evade the cops without them ever seeing me.

Also, Chasers (1 & 2) and Blow Up missions are easy, and give plenty of cash.

Out of My Mind is a bit harder, but I've gotten nearly 20k off it, so it's well worth the time and bullets.

When I'm bored of those, I'll do a couple races.

Also, stocking up my garage with Ballers, Oracles, and Felons to sell to the chop shop.

Lastly, I'll immediately join if I see someone setting up the Post Op - Vans heist set-up. Easiest 26k in the game (that I've found, at least).

Heists and Survival. If you quick join heists for 1 hour you can get around 80k.

Metal Slime

Playing missions, 100k an hour.

This one mostly. The Los Santos Connection not only pays well, it's less boring even after repeating it than Rooftop Rumble mainly due to activities there.

Also, selling modded vehicles from the streets, Lester's Purple Marker, destroying Smugglers, Armored Vehicle, and Lester'so target.

Do missions and mix it up with fleeca as frequent as it lets you replay it. Fleeca is an easy heist even for randoms, easier to do than most contact missions and make an easy 70-80k in 30 min depending on the cut you choose. Just make sure to make yourself the driller, assuming that you can hack and drill.

I used to grind races all the time. I start up drag strip style race by myself and let the timer run up to four minutes, then I finish the race and win $5,000 gta dollars. I also get RP but that various depending on your rank.

Cool cool. Nice suggestions guys. A lot of people don't really know how to make money solo. Hopefully they'll see this.

Missions, both solo and with randoms.

That and bounties. There's nothing like hunting down people from the sky...

I did the event playlist for Ill-Gotten-Gains. I did them over and over with randoms and made about 500k in about 2 hours of flat out grinding.

Play a lot of random missions by myself and take my time with them, try to kill all enemies with pistols or anything to make those missions last around 10-15 minutes. In an hour or so you'll have 100k, if you just play random missions and try to enjoy your time in them, do different things, you'll be sitting in a lot of money without even noticing it.

I actually just discovered pistols. I used to go in guns blazing with my automatic weapons but as you guys probably know, that ammo costs a lot. I ended up spending more money on ammo than I made on the mission itself.

Pistol much better way to go.

My method is to start with

Los Santos Connection

No Hay Bronca

Time To Get Away

Judging the jury

Grab your Ballas

Defender

Diamonds are for Trevor

Turbine Carbine

Satellite Communication

Dish The Dirt

Extradition

Trash Talk

I then go into freemode and blow some cash. Then I do races and other jobs.

Trevor smuggler planes can get you 22k so keep an eye on the radar.

Mainly contact missions and heists. Hosting heists isn't too lucrative but joining other people's heist setups can be if you get a good group. Most of the time I find contact missions to be the better paying job because heists are easier to fail and people constantly quit.

There is a special corner of hell reserved for kiddies that quit heists after only one fail or even before that.

Solo session, do cleaning the cat house or trash talk on hard. Get a $8000+ car and sell it at lsc. Hopefully get a bounty, Rob a store, and hope for a crate drop or smuggler plane. Drop the cops, run another mission, and hope a Simeon car pops when I get out. Averaging around $165k per hour.

Random Events and Contact Missions. I also sell the gang cars that spawn at Chamberlain Hills.

Mostly missions. Some random heist setups and finales when I feel like it. Fleeca with a friend every once in a while. Selling cars in freeroam, well, before they felt the need to restrict that.

I don't bother waiting the full 15 minutes for missions - 4 minutes is optimal.

If I'm playing alone I do contact missions, starting with on the list that are Hydra friendly. Fast, low outlay on ammo (cost savings vs explosives is huge!). Los Santos connection is another fave if you get some people in a lobby with you as it has a good payout and again I can eliminate the enemies below really easy

A combination of Blow Up III because my Savage spawns real close to the start point of the mission to make it quick and then go do some real world things waiting for the timer, otherwise I just join random missions with randoms when I want to actually play missions instead of time-grind the easy ones.

If I'm serious about grinding solo I just do missions I know I can do or think are fun like Gerald missions. I used to like A Boat in the Bay as I took my time meaning good money but R* have removed it for some reason. I'm pissed at that 'cause the starting location was aesthetically pleasing.

I also grind Blow Up by Simeon. Best mission to do, in my opinion...but only if you have other things to do. My tactic is use my Insurgent, go to the parking lot, ram all the cars together and one usually explodes just by ramming it so I don't even use one grenade (or any other weapons), drive back to Simeon's place and just wait next to the marker. In that meantime I do chores, check forum, etc. After 10-15 minutes I go in the marker and get $18K. I recommend this for anyone who want money and have other things to do.

But when I'm actually playing I do like the others: missions. Missions with randoms helps. If they die you can still finish the mission. If they don't you just play a support role. They're bullet sponges. But doing LS Connection alone on hard is also tons of fun. I've started doing all missions that only require 1 player to start. The best one so far is Base Invaders. Doing Survivals alone or with randoms is also worth it, especially if the randoms do the rounds quickly. 30K in 15-20 minutes isn't bad for staying in cover. While R* are pushing crews and the whole "play with friends!", there's actually a ton of options for solo players. Sure, you sort of need randoms to get a different experience and to make things quicker but doing stuff solo makes you feel like a real badass.

There's still a Potshot playlist for PS3. Shoot three guys, deliver the van in 4 minutes (not a second under). Can make about 100k in an hour.

Other than that selling cars and playing contact missions that are fun.

Currently while I do things IRL I have my GTA loaded up and I'm just hovering in my Hydra doing all the random free roam events (except HPV) and I've made $345,524 in the past 2 hours.

Do these missions if you really want to get money and if you are a high level player (75+). I do all these Missions "Solo" playing, Invite Only Lobby On Hard.

Rooftop Rumble in 4 minutes: $11250

Trash Talk in 6 minutes: $13720

Defender in 8 minutes: $15540

Diamonds are for trevor in 6 minutes: $13320

Extremely Hard to accomplish:

The Los Santos Connection in 10 minutes gives you $16320 + $8000 in money bags. That give you around $25000 in 10 minutes.

If you are a low level player (40-) you can try these missions:

No Smoking in 4 minutes: $9900

Potshot in 4 minutes: $9750

Lost MC RIP in 4 minutes: $9650

Crank up the Volume in 4 minutes: $9850

Editor and Thief in 4 minutes: $10300

And remember to sell a Gallivanter Baller ($9000) or modded Vapid Peyote ($12940) every 45 minutes.

You're playing in an invite only session by yourself? I can't really ever get any free roam events to start.
