He stayed away from drugs, prostitution and he was the most morally justified self righteousness GTA protagonist. Like Martinez said, "You know what your problem is? You're trying to be a good guy in a bad man's game! I thought you had potential, but you're just another chump..". He is the Black Captain America, he is morally justified and kills those that deserve to die. Vic does show remorse and guilt over the crimes he has committed. Vic joined the army because, "I got a difficult family. I got responsibilities". showing Vic has great care for his friends and family, putting them above all of his needs.
