Not that happy with the recording feature of GTAV. Aside from letting you record whilst randomly wandering around on foot, car, plane etc, every time you begin a mission, or pastime the recording stops. For many things you're unable to start recording again until its finshed, example you can't record your ride on the rollercoaster, cable car, or the inside of any garage, los santos customs, and numerous other places.

 

It's not that I spend loads of time riding the rollercoaster, or the cable car, or any other thing, but it just would have been much better if the record feature kept recording until I told it to stop, record all the action that takes place, not just my random wanderings/violence around LS. Seems to me half the game can't be recorded. I can of course get around it by using FRAP's and add those pieces of action later but of course that means its not supposed to be uploaded using GTAV itself because your rules state only content made exclusively with the R* editor can be uploaded.

 

I also have to say that now being so close to 100% completion the overall game and world seems quite empty and lacking in things to do. People always go on about how GTA SA had wasted space because of the countryside, but I don't agree. GTAIV and now GTAV have every bit as much wasted space in them, I don't care about being able to enter so many buildings when the fact is there's nothing to do once you get inside them, but that was one of the things people talk about with GTAIV. In GTAV you seem to have done half the job, because you're now so devoted to GTA online that singleplayer doesn't seem to matter. I've played GTA Onilne but I cant say that feels all that good either, we have two games but not enough content in either of them and it just annoys me in GTAO that I have to start all over again, get a crappy car, earn money etc, I've only just finished doing all that in the singleplayer side of things. I pre-ordered as well, yet that extra money you gave me is also pointless because at the start of GTAO there are so many stupid restrictions in place on what I am and aren't allowed to buy that the extra money is no help at all, there aren't enough things to spend it on and like singleplayer I suspect by the time I can actually use the money I'll be earning enough that again the pre-order bonus will still be pointless. A pre-order bonus that cant be used until such time as you dont actually need the bonus.

 

bitch session over, but I hope at some point you can at least update the recording feature so I can actually record everything instead of just random bits and pieces.

Oh sorry there is one other thing. The ferris wheel and rollercoaster, why can't they be used as a hangout option. I find it rediculous that Michael can't take his wife and kids to the pier and go on these rides as a family, he can only go by himself. It just seems odd that with all the activities I can do while hanging out with family/friends, there are things like these that aren't available, it makes perfect sense that a family might hangout and go on these rides.
