psn is down again

just got back from going out and I cant sign on to psn. anyone else getting this?

I'm on PS4, and it does seem like there's a few issues. One example is that right now I can't enter the Playstation Store.

 

I just started up GTA V, and it says I must be signed in to use network features.

Just logged in with no problems.

 

Edit: getting an error message when I go to my friends list but after closing it out it loads fine. Other than that, no problems getting on.

Maintenance is fine but how about a god damn schedule?

A schedule sounds nice. I don't know why Sony would do maintenance on a Friday night unless it's something important.

seems it has to do with something with the elder scrolls maintance. according to reddit elder scrolls online was in maintance 20 mins before psn went down.

Same issue, however, I know some people are still playing Online, which rules out maintenance or the whole of PSN being down.

 

It only happens for me if I try and play GTA, everything else works fine.

Not scheduled, PSN error, playstation wins the award for most unreliable service every!. Can't believe they actually charge us for a service they can't provide!

Indeed, OP, the problem is that you went out to enjoy life in the real world. That's really not allowed sorry.

 

You have to play like the nuts on this Forum, boosting heists non-stop with your crew, so you can be GTA rich and lord it over all the peasants It's a lifestyle choice.

For me, PSN and GTA0 servers are working exactly like they work on any given night - i.e., the level of service they provide would be called "network issues; working to restore" in any normal IT environment. But we put up with a lot more.
