Crossfire 290x terrible framerate and stutter

Title pretty much sums it up. My frame sit at 20-40fps with insane stutter when I'm using my 290x's in crossfire. If I disable crossfire the game goes back up to 50-70fps. Seems like a known issue for crossfire users but I haven't found any information on how to fix it yet. I'm using 15.5 beta drivers. Also tried on 15.4 and it was the same issue. Reinstalled drivers multiple times but nothing helps.
