Literally. I'm a DM fanatic. It's my prime, my joy. It's my f*ckING SUPER BOWL.

Every month. It worst and worst. I look for a DM

On call. Everytime, I have to switch out five or six times

1999999 +RP and Cash Glitch Bitch Lobbies

PARKOUR

FIGHT CLUB

RING MATCH

TRAINING FACILITIES

Is this what really can only come up with?

Like sh*t dude I love good DM's. It's my favorite type of game mode when it comes to online gaming in general. But do you guys think these lobbies that are overpopulating like zits or a rat infestation are actually good matches?

Literally. They're all the same. Get the guns, kill everyone else. Repeat. No equal footing, no challange

Not only that. But literally. People go out their way to glitch by any means to get ahead.

XP

Money

All earned easy as having a person to wipe your ass and putting in the effort.

Hell you get better at the game and help everyone else by doing so. Who knew?

The youtubers prosper. You know they f*cking do.

All these tutorials given by domislive or every other H20delirious clones out there.

sh*tstep intro, Creepily Enthusiastic Voice here, Glitch here, End of video. Repeat.

Oh and don't forget to like and subscribe.

Why? We complain about not getting sh*t but lame updates. Hell this update clearly, I feel, kinda fits the vibe the community we give off. Look at this sh*t. Gold shirts?

Bitch and Moan. Whatever. There's no excuse for this.

Testosterone down. here's the thing...

We glitch

We cheat

It all repeats and complain when we get sh*t for updates.

We every right to want more. Every. We payed our due. 60.

But this is KILLING this game.

Does anyone agree to some extent?

I join any melee deathmatches just for a laugh. Nothing better than being punched to death from invisible fists halfway from falling to your death from 1000 feet in the sky.

Releasing the content creator publicly was the worst idea they ever had...leave it to the people who actually know how to make good content. For all the sh*t I give R* I swear they're the only ones who know how to make a good DM or race without millions of jump ramps.

Yes, we're too busy calling everyone else "kid" or disrespecting their taste at the point that interacting with other people means stressful moments.

I said it some time ago:

"This is why we can't have nice things": do we all agree on this, right?

Warning: this is an opinion and is a "long" text. If you joined a forum wanting to read posts of only one paragraph and reading is not your ally then maybe Imgur and Twitter are for you.

I started with that meme since it's a nutshell of the (in my honestly honest opinion) biggest problem about GTA Online. And here I am, claiming that it's the community the doom of the game.

Rockstar promised that GTA Online is a constant world that will be growing up and adding new stuff in order to keep the it fresh, it's their long-time project. Of course, since Rockstar said that and watching what the game is today you can ask yourself if they were scamming people or the micro transactions took the best of Rockstar Games.

You can see it in the trailer of GTA Online, the open game is showed as a PvE game rather than a extended version of Nuketown. That was Rockstar's expectations, if they were aiming their ideas to that, no wonder today the game hardly adds a new feature.

We have to give credit to the devs, they are doing partially what they said... for a DLC era where you have to pay a few bucks to get a camo in a gun watching them releasing DLCs (or updates, that doesn't matter) for free is something we don't see every day. We agree on that.

But, what about the other part they promised? What part, can you ask... heists, the casino? Yes and no, I'm talking about the part they avoid because the worst gaming community in the last years: features. I get it, it's nice to have new vehicles/clothes/masks every two months but it gets old very fast. We need (yeah, otherwise the game will "die" soon) things to to instead of things to buy. I don't think Rockstar was talking about clothes/cars when they talked about keeping the game in constant evolution.

Micro transactions are what Rockstar needs to keep releasing free content, right? Well, adding features is near impossible because bad luck decided that the worst communities went to GTA. You know what community I'm talking about: the community that pays a few bucks for a camo, the same people that want everything easy, the ones worried about rank and k/d like a life/death matter.

And we get to the point that started the thread... this is why we can't have nice things.

It's not only about having a good idea and adding it to the game as a new feature. Think about something you'd like to see in the game, whatever you want. While you think in how implementing that idea I bet you found ways it could be exploited easily and will cause a gamebreaker glitch. Even if you don't find it we're talking about the same community that managed a way to glitch money by the rearrangement tool in the garage.

It's a fact and we saw it on the Flight School update: one day and 95% (so to speak) of the players started to complain about a new feature being boring. It wasn't my favorite but I recognize it felt good to have something else to do. Less than 24 hours and Se7en and /r/gtaglitches had ways to exploit the Flight School, it was simply ridiculous. Same for heists, people will be more concerned about ways to exploit it than if the content is good.

This is where I blame youtubers. It's not like if people needed money in-game, youtubers spread that for the sake of doing it... after all they only need to read a text tutorial and make it a video, and of course... as everyone want to be the first one it ends with 100 videos of the same glitch.

Conclusion: people itself is preventhing this game from growing up. More than console limitations, game limitations or network limitations (another problems too) the main problem is and will be the community. After thinking about it, Rockstar finally has a stable game, adding new features will release the glitching chaos again. It's just my input and hope it can be discussed.

they were decent in IV, they never felt right for me in gtao, content creator and lack of filters made things worse.

I'm not hardcore at playing DM, but this is super f*cked up and this makes me sad. It's almost impossible to get a good DM going with a good amount of people. Going on call will most like throw you in some fake boosting lobby, so I wouldn't go that route. I'd just try to get in to an almost full lobby and host a deathmatch.

I KNOW, you'll be waiting.. And waiting.. Until people join and leave.. And you wait more.. (Gtao matchmaking), if you can get some friends to join and you get up to like 6 people, the matchmaking system might throw some on call people your way..

It's honestly just pathetic because yes this is just the lack of filters and a sh*tty matchmaking, same problem with people who look for serious races. Idc about people ramming me or w/e, atleast they are doing a job with me.. All anyone wants is to bs in free roam because waiting in lobbies for 20 mins at a time isn't fun. It's nobodies fault but those who designed this sh*tty job joining system.

I used to play a ton of interior DMs but not anymore. The key was being in a crew which actively enjoyed them, thus it was never a problem finding a match with enough players. The public route never works, as you already stated, you just end up with crap and troll-ey maps.

Once I had a daily objective to kill 20 people. I'm not a freeroam warrior so I went to join a DM. Proved impossible, I spent half an hour constantly getting in and leaving $99999999RP bullsh*t.

Figured out the last thing I can try is to start my own job, maybe I'll get at least 2 people or so. I started a DM, sent auto invites... Within 10 seconds I had a full lobby of 8 people. Never seen a lobby fill up so quickly. People are apparently hungry for DM, so just start your own and you're set.

People go out their way to glitch by any means to get ahead.

As I (and others) have said before on this Forum, this pervasive sad behavior is not even about little cheating/exploiting sh*ts trying to get better stats to make their sorry selves feel superior. I think a lot of these sick little f*cks just like to get their jollies from making other players rage at the fact that they are cheating little scum. And once again, it's Rockstar's beautiful (/sarcasm) game design that actually encourages this kind of unfairness across the board, and thus kills any possibility of rich gameplay.

This wall of text sums it up well. The players are bringing this game down and keeping it from being what it could be.

I don't think dlc itself or the "want it now so pay for it" thing is ruining things, I think it's just the mentality that people want to cheat and do anything they can to get ahead, and in a persistent style game like this, it ruins everything. I don't think mmos will ever truly thrive on consoles at all like they have on pc simply because of the type of person that is attracted to consoles. People who want to sit down, play for a little bit, and get all their sh*t relatively quick. Totally different from what you see on pc games of the same type.

I've pointed out how this game borrows a lot of its persistent style progression from mmos and rpgs in general and things like that but people won't have it. They just shoot off with "this isn't an rpg blah blah I eat dicks for breakfast" and that's that. They can't accept different elements from different games making it something different, they can't embrace things like that. People are impatient and short sighted in general these days it seems which does not help make matters any better.

Instead of just pushing out more content, Rockstar also has to find ways to stop and slow down the exploiting so they have developers at work on that as well as trying to do more content so then that's taking away from the content creation process and everything. But then those same people doing that will just blame Rockstar for everything, those people are faultless, they can do no wrong, they're just sticking it to the evil Rockstar who deserve to have their game driven into the ground and bitched at that they don't do anything right.

Deathmatches are really boring for me.

I joined one recently. There were 3 or 4 matches in a row. I was tired of it at the second one. No f*cking aim but just kill more than being killed... so damn lame. And I spent too much cash on that crap, to win what? quite nothing if I made the calculation.

Fighting for fighting is boring as hell.

I wouldn't necessarily say that we ruin it, but the community as a whole does. With each update, everything seems to get a lot worse which is a shame. I have played a lot and enjoy all game types, but it's always extremely hard to get anyone to join anything you do and when they do, you get split up from your crew and friends..

I always wanted them to add the choice to play user created content, but I was a bit naive to all the crap that gets made. As you said, it's extremely hard to find a fair and well made race or TDM. They seem to ban all stupid words in the creator but allow hack and mod and all this stupid crap to bait people to play spawn traps?

Unfortunately I don't think there is anything you can do to get away from this. The best advice, and what I do to play fair and fun TDMs and races is to join an active crew so that you can make friends who will play the game like you do and hopefully they host crew playlists and get togethers regularly.

the voting screen is a nightmare, half the time it doesnt wait on your vote, or wont let you vote( itll wait to the last second to like/dislike, or continue on a playlist) and inevitably someone will vote random, which in turn will put you in something with an on call host, or some stupid crates in the clouds race, the racing has gone to hell as much as the deathmatches have

unless something is verified(not that all those are good), the ONLY way into it should be by player invites...

and any glitchers should have their money wiped for first offense, character wiped for second offense, and account banned for the third let em play f*cking singleplayer if they cant stop cheating

I agree with what people are saying in that it can be extremely difficult and frustrating to get into a good DM these days. For DM fans like myself the best hope I find is to hope that once you finally get into one good match with a decent number of people usually they will stick around for a while and you can play four or five DM's in a row with the same group.

I only play the "1000000$DOLLA$$ ARE PEE INFUNUTY WONGA GLICH" if they are actual legit deathmatches that are fun, rest can f*ck off.

And any Deathmatch designed to have easy camp spots can f*ck off too.

And the worst part is that there are idiots who still fall for it...

R* needs to shut down gta:o for a week and delete all of the 1,000,000 gta$ + 500,000 rp deathmatches, ban the creators , and ban whoevers downloaded them. Then they need to give us filters so we wont have to join custom content or R* verified garbage.

Deahtmatches are life. It's my only way of making money. However, those stupid "9999999rp 1million cash" are stupid and worthless. I have to cancel my call because everyone just joins them. I then have to keep doing it till I find a decent one. The melee deathmatches are cool, sometimes they do have twists to them. Sometimes it'll be in mid air and its fun to get pushed off and see you fall to your death, or just simply punching someone off.

The f*cked up thing about these DMs is I stuck one out once to try and understand who plays them and etc....

After 10 minutes of 90% of the participants getting shredded by one player. at the end they all gave it a thumbs up vote. Wtf is that about? Players joining and getting spawned killed enjoyed it. (baffled)
