When I saw the price for the gold luxury jet I was blowned I mean 10M for a gold plane... Really rockstar I mean I can handle the price for the hydra but this is ridiculous...they gotta lower the price on that thing lol If you compare the gold luxury jet and the normal luxury jet they're almost the same, only deference is the looks. And the Pegassi Osiris is also to much I mean yea it's fast and it's pretty dam good but for 1.9M may be to much for a legendary car if you ask me.my point is should they lower the prices for the gold jet and car?

Count your blessings man, a LaFerrari is 1.5mill and a Huayra is like more than that so obviously a highbird would be more expensive

I'm alright with having lower vehicle prices, but the Ill Gotten Gains Part 1 update is mainly meant to show off. Hence the high prices.

I believe other than just having a luxurious lifestyle to be set after the Heists, this is Rockstar trying to dent wallets and keep people occupied for only quite awhile - to those players with less money - it is prompting them to keep playing, to earn money for the things they would want in by playing more jobs, or prompt them to buy shark cards - where R* would profit a lot from it. Some players are desperate to get money that they are trying to find money glitches to earn money easily without spending a dime.

 

It is understandable that the Luxor is priced at 10 million, it's solid gold (or supposedly in the game) - and has inside features, etc., similar with the Swift.

Also with the "Are You Serious" Osiris (O-sy-ris) car, the prices are accurate to the real life counterparts before them.

 

Prices are reasonable to the GTA billionaire or high-end millionaire, but the middle-class criminal will say otherwise.

 

In the end, we're all still playing this game.

This. I'm glad they finally added more expensive cars. Before the heist update, I could buy everything without worrying about losing a few million. Now this update came out and I spent over $3million on stock cars, more on upgrades, and a bunch on the other stuff. I wish they were more creative with the aircraft. Add something new or make something better than painting it gold, adding novelty actions, and removing 2 seats.

the osiris isn't ovepriced....the fact that i see many of them already proves my point

 

edit: only a showoff is gonna buy the new aircraft anyhow.....i think.....by my knowing they dont have a better performance then their non-golden counterparts

Think of the golden jet as a "designer" item. It is just mark up to show off. $10,000,000 is a way to separate the super rich from the not super rich. While they are flying in their $10 million golden jet, the rest of us poor people will be in our non-golden vehicles.

I wasted a few million on cars and outfits for both characters, but am holding off on buying the swift and especially the Luxor until I either get ten million +, or see what Part II offers when it drops.
