As of the Ill Gotten Gains Part I update, I noticed a small change on the minimap. I am 100% sure it used to show units mesured in miles and feet. It now mesures in kilometres and meters.

Maybe it changed depending on country?

I doubt they would change the American way.

If you look even further, in the display settings you can change between the two.

Really? I looked and couldn't see it. I must have missed it. Haha!

Yeah, seems kind of weird in km as the dashboards on most vehicles mesure in mph. Noticed that on the Futo, it has kmh under mph in little.

Cool, before that, it was depending on your language. I played with text in english and french. In french it would be in km while in english it would be in miles. Never quite understood why they wouldn't put the option between the two but now it's there.

At least, I think it's there, haven't checked myself...

Yes, you can change between the two in the display settings section. I wonder if it changed for everyone or only for some people, I live in the U.S. and my text for the game is always in English, but I had mine changed to KM, so that was kind of odd.

Yeah, I live in Spain but play in English (cos' I'm English). Maybe it depends on location? Weird that it changed to Km in the US though.

there is an option to change it in the settings menu. When they added it for whatever reason it seems like they swapped everyone over to have it show km as default.

Ah, didn't notice since my game menus and everything are usually in french so I didn't see any difference. It's cool that there's the option now.

Just like most Japanese cars in real life then (it's inspired from the AE86).

I would agree with those who said that R* probably changed it for everyone by default to KM. It makes no sense for them to change it, unless it was done by default for people who live in the U.S. and play with English text.

Also now when you expand the mini map it still shows your health and armor, it didn't use to.

This was first introduced in the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions of the game. It is present in the P.C. edition too.

Are you saying that this is now also a feature on Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3 edition(s)?

Did you just imply that the imperial system is better than the metric system, because you couldn't be more wrong

Relax, I sure they were just busting balls, hence the tongue out. Besides personal preference doesn't mean something is better.

That or the Osiris. I read 500 meters as 500 feet and wondered why I was still a mile away...

I read 500 meters as 500 feet and wondered why I was still a mile away...I was driving the stirling and said "wow, it changed because of the car im in" got into my banshee, and was disappointed. Would have been a cool touch if it was set to the vehicles country of origin with the option to change it. Edited by Chloroform
