Ghost XB Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 I have heard from people on the GTA Forums, as well as people on other sites that I know that the Hydra now spawns at Helipads like the Buzzard Attack Chopper in GTA Online. I found out that the Hydra can spawn at Airfields and Helipads when called from Pegasus, but I just don't get why Rockstar would make the Hydra, a $3,000,000 Jet, naturally spawn at Helipads. I'm not 100% sure that it does spawn naturally on Helipads, but this is just bullsh*t. I paid $3,000,000 for a jet that any noob can find at Helipads? What a waste. I'm not Bitch & Moaning, but I just find it weird Rockstar would do something like this. The Hydra's worth $45 in real life, and they did something like this? Just doesnt add up. #RockstarLogic. It doesn't span randomly like the Attack Chopper. This. They'd never plant the expensive vehicles out for free The spawn is kind of messed up though. I was close to the airport but it wanted to spawn it at the marina helipad area for some dumb reason, then when I was close to that later it went to the airport instead. Its been 2 days since the DLC has been out, and I've only been to Helipads maybe 1 or 2 times throughout these 2 days. People can have questions asshole. It's my personal favorite watching people post questions that they could answer for themselves if they just played for 5 minutes. Not this topic specifically, as I think the OP misunderstood about the spawning, or was told incorrectly. No, the jet doesn't spawn naturally, they just meant that it will spawn at a helipad when you call it now. Thank God. Now my Hydra can sometimes be a better option than my Savage in missions now. It makes the Paleto Bay properties far more valuable in my opinion. I can have my Hydra spawn around the corner from my house and just fly into the city easy peasy. But that spawn is so bad, they should really lock up the guy who designed that spawn system is a hot oven. When another player is close to you supposed spawn point, there is no chance to get your vehicle, as the point will be constantly occupied with free vehicles that will not despawn because of that other player. Like that other day at Sandy Shores I called in a Hydra. Come there, whoops, we can't deliver it because there is a cargo bob at the spawn point. And there is some dude flying a civilian plane in the area, so no can do. I take the cargo bob several metres away, get out of it to find another cargo bob just spawned literally behid my back. RmpTebow15 Posted June 15, 2015 Share Posted June 15, 2015 I just bought the hydra and I can confirm yes it does spawn at helipads for you now instead of just airfields, which is great since I can get it quickly for missions, randoms can't use it though unless they've purchased it.
