OPINION TIME: What is the worst expansion/DLC in your opinion?

For me Independance Day.

Not concerned and I didn't like the content.

 

I can't believe that some players voted for the Heists update... It must be the best one because it adds the heists damn it. So f*cking long awaited heists. And it's not just a couple of items, it adds missions that give quite a lot of money and fun compared to the others we already know. Seriously, if for some of you it's the worst update, go play another game. It's definetly not the right one for you. We'll surely get nothing better than the Heists IMO.

 

And OP, I can't believe neither that you didn't make that thread because of the Ill Gotten Gains update. If it was true, you'd ask which update is the best for us, not the worst.

Erh well, it was just a temporary 'DLC' which included content we couldn't even keep, aside the tattoos.

 

So yeah, that's definitely the worst.

To answer your question; yes. For every update that has been, recently added options for customizing your character is the thing that interests me the most. The Festive Surprise offered some pretty cool clothes. Sweaters, more caps for males, just to name a few. Sure, the clothes is Christmas themed and shouldn't be worn outside the holiday season, yet it was new and looked great.

1. Flight School: Teaching useless flying lesson for non-practical purpose with insult-throwing instructor that's not funny at all.

 

2. Last Team Standing: Simply uninteresting and the theme is unspecific. New vehicles were welcomed, however.

 

3. Ill Gotten: They're trying too hard in forcing "extravagance" theme into this update.

I downloaded the Beach Bum update the minute it was available - did a race, catch-up off - won it...WORLD RECORD! ..sure, the record probably only stood for about 2minutes..or it could have been a fortunate server glitch! - either way, I had the tattoo all of my crew-mates wanted...and I got it first! ..sure, not the best in terms of content - but good memories nonetheless

 

..Ill-Gotten Gains: Part I didn't include any new jobs - that puts it bottom of the pile for me... but it was free - so I'm not complaining! ..just comparing

The flight school actually added an entire side-activity which I think is a pretty big deal and alludes to the possibility of other activities becoming available in the future, such as a casino.

 

Beach Bum certainly takes my vote as it may well be the only update that didn't even temp me with any vehicles. But then again, it was the first ever DLC, right?

I didn't mind the beach bum pack, it was R*'s first DLC and R* wasn't thinking about cash cards when making it.

 

The worst is the flight school, WHO THE f*ck WANTS A DLC WITH SCHOOL IN THE NAME!?!

 

The flight suit was sh*t and ugly, the vehicles were waaay overpriced and by the time flight school came out everyone was an ace pilot anyway.

 

My favourite DLC is the Valentines DLC and Heists, too bad the Valentines DLC was limited and R* missed out on bringing it back this year.

It's not on the list but Capture/Creator update is the worst. Not only it had nothing interesting but also was the beginning of these moronic "99999999999999999$ and RP" job spam.

 

From ones on the list, a tie between Beach Bum and High Life. Beach Bum because it filled my wardrobe with clothes I will never f*cking use. High Life because Zentorno and rifle I used so often that I killed only 10 NPCs.

Yeaa but I personally didn't like flight school, found it boring and by the time it came out it was a bit too easy. So that's why that one is high on my list, I didn't care for any of the content. The only thing I now use out of that update is my flag parachute bag

I loved the Hipster Update for the awesome clothing options added in, and the Panto is a pretty sweet ride.

Beach Bum wasn't bad, gave us the Bifta and a bunch of free clothes.

I'd say the Festive Surprise Update was my least favorite. I feel like they could have given more when it came to the cares, which were literally just existing cars with cool vinyls. I also think they could have given everyone money since it was a holiday DLC. Also, the clothing options were awesome, wish they weren't only temporary.

I don't understand people saying flight school. The Coquette Classic is sweet, the Besra was the best buyable plane until the Hydra came along, and the flight school itself was fun for at least one playthrough, plus you made a lot of money on that if you got gold on most or all of the missions. It easily surpasses Beach Bum.

Beach Bum will always be the worst f*cking DLC in this game. Nothing will ever top it's cheesiness. It was the first DLC, incredibly poop free clothes that were permanently added to our wardrobes without our consent.

 

The Bifta was really cool though, that was the only good content in that mess of a DLC.

Here are the following DLCs that I hate (to an extent):

 

Beach Bum - Was free. WAS, until The High Life Update forced players to buy cars and clothes with in-game money. A big slap to the face.

 

SA Flight School - Pointless update is pointless. And one car is the only thing I felt sorry for, but the planes are pretty much a big meh. I can use them for races, but to actually buy them? No thank you.

 

The LTS Update - Yeeeaaaah no. The Hakuchou didn't had the extended swingarm and the stitched skin livery like in TLaD. The Innovation lacks ANY modifications and the Furore GT lacks any appeal due to limited mods available. And the addition of LTS hardly excited me.

 

Heists Update: Adversary Mode is the only feature that should be left out. Heists excites me, yes, but the Adversary Mode? It doesn't have the hype at all. Sure people play it, but I don't. It simply has no appeal to me whatsoever.

 

Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 - Was expecting a fourth property slot, had no choice but to relinquish four of the vehicles I didn't want in exchange of getting the four new vehicles. Two gold-plated planes... who would buy those? You could even paint your BMX gold at a small fraction of a price...
