I think you need to use imgur and make the image into a direct link.

Save link to picture

 

Copy link in reply box and on the left side of the link put [ img ] and on the right put [/ img ] NO SPACES

upload it to any image uploading site and then post the code? Not really rocket science.

Upload the image to imgur.com and you can either copy the BB Code or the Image link. If you copy the image link, you need to put [ img ] -link- [ /img ].

Put that url in a tag like so:

 

[img=http://i.imgur.com/cSFURrJ.jpg]

and it'll show up as an image instead of just being a url.

2 things you're doing wrong...

- You're not using the proper image link. The link should end with an image extension (png, jpg, tiff, gif, etc), the one you posted is linking the whole imgur page, not just the image.

- You're not closing the img tag properly. It should be:

[img=sampleimage.jpeg]

or

[img=sampleimage.jpg]
