"Your account does not meet the age requirements to access the sto

I just got this issue today while trying to get Online. It tells me "GTA Online content required to play cannot be accessed from Rockstar Game's servers right now. Returning to Grand Theft Auto V". I tried accessing the store to download the content and it says "Your account does not meet the age requirements to access the store".

 

My account was given to me by my Dad a few years ago - he had GTA IV on PC but he gave the copy and account to me because he didn't want it anymore. So his birthday is listed in the account settings as "June 9th 1955". According to the EULA - you have to be 13+ to make an account and I'd assume you'd have to be 18 and over to access the store. However, his birthday shows that it meets both of those requirements.

 

With both of these errors I can't play Online anymore - and this issue just started today as I could play perfectly fine yesterday. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Accessing the Settings Menu on the Social Club site keeps telling me that I haven't verified my account - and I have twice done so. Clicking on "Resend Verification" says "You have already performed this action".

 

Should I drop an email to Rockstar Support - with screenshots and see what happens or wait it out and see if the error corrects itself?

One of my friends was having the same issue as you (GTA Online content required to play cannot be accessed from Rockstar Game's servers right now. Returning to Grand Theft Auto V), it most likely could be an issue on Rockstar's end.

 

I suggest waiting for a few hours, and try again later. If the issue still persists, you might as well send a ticket in, and then post that ticket on their twitter and the community forums (detailing the issue as well), for fast feedback.
