Entity Vs Osiris: Which is better on the track?

Im astonished that no one has mentioned comparing arguably the best super car in the game which is the Entity against the new Osiris. All of my friends think their so fast in their new Osiris. So I challenged 5 them to one of my custom races around the city. (Basically the main highway the cuts through under the tunnel and around the city features numerous technical corners and such) Basically, it's a NFS The Run inspired track. Specifically a tier 5-6 track with a 4 star technical rating.

 

Obviously yours truly won the race but I must say that the Osiris is a nice car; I just do not think it's my cup of tea. Long story short, I believe on the track, the Entity would be a better choice. The similarity amongst Zentorno drivers and Osiris drivers is that most of them can only drive in a straight line....from my experience at least. Once it comes to the corners this is where the Entity shines in my opinion; especially when your drafting.

 

Is there ever going to be a super car that will just blow the Entity out of the water? To be quite frank with you guys, I do not believe any super car has honestly achieved this yet. Obviously it always comes down to the driver. But this was really interesting to me since I have been getting more into the racing part of the game.

 

What are your thoughts? I would love to hear some of Los Santos most experienced racer's opinions on this.

anyone who cant make a turn in a zentorno is just a bad driver, but then most people in this game are bad drivers, put any lap race on more than one lap and turn off catchup and most of them end up with a dnf

 

I respectfully disagree. My friends raced on my custom track numerous times. So everyone had a fair advantage. I even lost a few times on a my own track so idk what your talking about bro lmao. My point is that the foreign Entity can keep up with the Osiris. But just like everyone said numerous times, including myself, it's really about the driver. It's just funny how people think just because it has expensive price tag it means it's superior in every way. But I agree there are too many bad drivers on Gta Online...

Osiris, it's quicker than even the Zen and isn't as ugly as the Entity, there's literally no reason to even consider an Entity for racing anymore, you're going to be smoked by either the Zen or the Osiris.

I see what your saying but I would beg to differ. I would even argue the Osiris just looks like a face lift for the Turismo to be honest lol. I like my Osiris though it's ight. I just love my foreign Entity

 

Anyone know how I can share my custom race to you guys? Anyone willing to test out a time for the Entity and Osiris? The track tbh is pretty sick im not gonna lie. It's a NFS The Run inspired track I strongly believe you guys will like it. The fastest time on it is w/ my Entity at 5:47. (Its like a 6 min race) But I would be impressed if someone here can finish under 5:30...maybe even close to 5 min!

My Entity XF blew an Osiris I raced recently out of the water and that dickhead tried to ram me off the road. f*cking scumbag. One thing I've noticed between the two is the Entity is much less slippery than my Osiris.

 

Question for you stat buffs out there: What's the best armour level to put my Osiris to get good speed but without the weight speed reduction of 100%?

I ran my Osiris around a custom circuit I've made in the Rockford hills, equal parts quick straights and some really nice turns, and compared to my entity it felt sluggish in the curves, not as much throttle response coming out of the corners either. I clocked ten laps in the Osiris and ten in the Entity with the Entity consistently quicker by about one second.

 

If the Osiris had suspension that could be lowered it might improve in the corners, but until that happens the Entity will remain top dog.

 

A little bummed I spent two million for such a underperforming car, but at least it looks nice parked in the garage next to my other Pegassi vehicles.

In the early days the Entity was my go-to car because it had great handling and superior acceleration. But then came the Turismo, followed by the Zentorno, and my Entity has gained dust ever since. It now serves as a piece of history, reminding me of the old days.

I own both, and I have to say, it feels like the Entity handles corners better.

 

But also, I couldn't bring myself to put either of those butt-ugly wings on my Osiris, maybe they'd help it.

 

I've beaten plenty of Osirises in races already, but I've also lost my fair share against them as well, which leads me to believe that it's down to the driver.

Because owning a more expensive car always ensures you're going to be out in front? You mustn't do much racing - in populated races the chance of getting sideswiped or PIT manoeuvred is higher and if that happens I don't think it's completely fair to assume you're always going to be able to get back in first place.

 

Anyway, here's some stats from the files, I've thrown in the Zentorno as well for comparison.

Mass

Entity: 1500

Osiris: 1350

Zentorno: 1500

 

Drag (coefficient) (higher = more aerodynamic drag)

Entity: 8.5

Osiris: 10.24

Zentorno: 10

 

Drive Force (power the engine produces in top gear)

Entity: 0.33

Osiris: 0.36

Zentorno: 0.354

 

Max Speed

Entity: 155

Osiris: 159.1

Zentorno: 159

 

Brake Force

Entity: 0.9

Osiris: 1.05

Zentorno: 1

 

So basically:

• the Entity and Zentorno can push other vehicles out of the way easier than the Osiris, and put their traction on the road better (higher mass).

   

• the Entity is likely to hold its speed better at higher speeds and be less affected by the artificial air resistance (if any). Osiris has the worst (highest) drag, which means it may be less stable at higher speeds.

   

• the Osiris is the most powerful with the highest drive force and top speed. However, Adder's Drive Force is 0.32 and Turismo's 0.353 and their max speeds are 160 and 155 respectively.

   

• the Osiris has the better brakes in theory. The Turismo blows everything else out of the water though in this category (Brake Force), at 1.2.

 

 

The Zentorno has more mass? It always feels lighter than the Osiris. Osiris feels like it has a lot more traction too, however the last gear for me is a bit odd. Zentorno can still pass it, considering the driving force kicks in randomly.

 

Regardless of stats, it's down to the racer. You can have the most expensive, fastest car in the game and still not come first. Oh and also, I hope not everyone is comparing these two cars in public lobbies with catchup and slipstream. Those assists can make a stock adder catch up to a custom Osiris.

All 4 are competitive however the Osiris is smashing world records records on some tracks,mere hours after being released.And Broughy said on skype that he feels the Osiris still had a bit to give and would be faster on other tracks.

They didn't.

 

It's ever so slightly better than the Zentoro but at 2.5x the cost of it.

 

The Turismo and Entity aren't that much worse than the Zentoro to really matter, either.

 

Between the four, you're basically picking by price and "feel."

 

I regret buying the Osiris out of the gate. Not because it was expensive (without being a braggart, it hardly effected my bank statement) but because it's 4x the cost of the Turismo and is so fractionally better, stats wise, that it hardly matters especially since 90% of the races include drafting, catchup, and a nonstop stream of jackholes trying to run you off the road, anyways.

Top drivers pick the top vehicles, if you're not in the fastest vehicles you'll lose to top drivers, anyone can beat sh*t drivers using an inferior car..,I race randoms in a vigero or buccaneer in muscle and win by miles, against great drivers though I'm using a blade on tight tracks, a dukes on tracks that are a mix of both and the dominator on tracks with straights.

Long straights, few corners - Adder

Mixed corners and straights - Osiris/Zentorno

Few straights, many corners - Entity XF/Turismo S

 

Osiris is just a Zentorno rival - any good 'Entity-track' will still be a good Entity track ..although the Osiris' acceleration keeps it in contention in races with tight corners

We're on the XBOX ONE. I have no clue how it is over on the PS4 but, over here on the ONE, the Entity takes a back seat to the top 4 Supers for a reason. It just simply can't produce the lap times like the top 4 Supers can. Each of them can accelerate out of turns faster than the Entity. The Entity is a good vehicle and used to be the top dog of the class when the game first came out but now, it's 5th. best.

I see your point but I respectfully disagree regarding lap times. Well it kinda depends tbh. If were talking a technical track, I strongly believe the Entity can put up one hell of a race amongst the other supers. Especially around a corner, idk if a Zen let alone a Adder can handle a corner swiftly like a Entity, t20 and a like. But on straight line I agree that is when the Entity kinda blows lol. I gotta idea, do you mind testing out my custom track? It's a NFS The Run inspired track with a 4 out 5 star technical rating. So far the fastest time I recorded so far was 5:47:772 with my modded Entity.

The entity was my best purchase in gtao so far.

 

I won't buy the osiris or t20 althougj they might be better.

 

I always join via quick job so catchup is almost always on. So that takes out the advantage of those cars easily.

You're on the PS4, can XBOX ONE players bookmark your track? We'll try it out if it can be bookmarked. And yes, the Entity can put up some decent lap times but, the top 4 Supers can put up better lap times, especially if the cornerings don't have silly humps on them created by players. And no, the Adder is ONLY good for long straights with barely any turning.
