The update is only as flashy and ostentatious as you make it.

Dark overcoats and and a german oldtimer, there's nothing more sober than that.

And look, I think the new Pegassi can be of the chaste kinds too :

It really depends on the player, the update itself may be chavvy, for sure, upon release you will see a lot of this new content owned by players, but this DLC doesn't structure all of the oddities found in the game and it won't dictate the aesthetics of GTA : Online for long. That's only the novelty effect, a soon as the excitement settles down, players will turn back to the things they appreciated the most, and we'll see what was truly memorable in this DLC.

I forgot to add.. I did buy the 2 million dollar car because I thought it would be good.. I think it is honestly to good really the tires superglued to the road and what not..

I agree with him in everything when I saw the prices for things I was thinking why tf would anyone pay 10 million bucks for the same plane they can get for 3 or so million dollars..

I am not going to buy anything else.. I dont buy alot of clothes for my guy I have yet to buy a tattoo so meh..

I think this crap is to flush out the people with all the money.. Cheated or otherwise...

I've been playing GTA since its first appearance and their humour has always been the same. I see it EVERYWHERE lol! And this update was more of the same, tongue-in-cheek, naughty grin, sarcastic stuff. It's what I love about the entire franchise. Sometimes I feel sad that the majority never "get" it, but then I remember that's kinda the point of it. I'm glad of the people that have posted in response to the OP here, makes me happy to know their (R*) humour isn't completely going amiss on the brain-dead masses!

Can't wait to see what they release in part 2...

I dunno. I don't think you can call the most expensive automobile in the [game] world "chaste". It doesn't matter if it's aesthetically austere or you let GiantsGiants do what he does to it, a $2m car is still a $2m car. It's flashy by virtue of what it is.

That's an interesting point. But I think the GTAO community will do what they've always done. At first, the Adder was the be all/end all because it was the most expensive... No one really bought it for performance, they bought it because it was GTAO's biggest vehicular status symbol. Then the Zentorno came along. Granted, it was a little less expensive, but it was new, It was faster, it was new, it was flashier, it was new and it was troll-ready. The Osiris doubles Adder's YOLOSWAGSUPERBALLER price tag making it somewhat exclusive/rare until enough people can raise $2m and the car becomes more common. And, even then, it'll still be the most expensive car money can buy by a wide margin and GTAO's default vehicular status symbol for sure. I imagine that it'll sit at the top of the hill until something newer and more expensive comes along.

So the benchmark option was there when I first installed the game. But crashed (per the reports that I have to finish the prologue first). After I finished the first missions, now I can't find the option to benchmark again in advanced graphics. I've created a commandline.txt file (with only a "-benchmark" in there) in c:\program files\rockstar games\ GTA V. When the game starts up, it just goes to the loading screen...

Wtf am I doing wrong!?

Great post I like the update also and every time I go to a shop I see an out fit that I just have to have. I only wish this update had new jobs and contact missions its been awhile and yes I want that gold Luxor. I'm willing to buy a 20 dollar cash card so I could buy that and the Osiris I don't care what anyone thinks. Gold shoes, gold pants gold jets! All gold every thing! I am gold member! I love goooollllllldddd!!!!!!

yesterday I said I would by a cash card and I did but man when I saw the price for the megaladon card I did a double take. 100 dollars for a shark card are you freakin' serious?!?! No wonder people are complaining. This is a good update though besides the clothes that are already available there are plenty of unlockable items.

I sold my turismo to get this baby and it was well worth it. The turismo was nice but it looked to much like an f-1 formula racing car. I like the Osiris it slightly resembles gta 4's turismo. Edited by SmokesWithCigs

That's my biggest complaint about this update.

So I bought the Osiris and I wasn't planning to. When I tested it in single player, was not impressed. However I have changed my mind, when you drive it, it feels like a $2m car. Forget about performance, this feels like a quality car and I will likely not be driving my Zentorno anytime soon. It's definitely a sweet ride and having the doors open up makes it just that much more cooler.

No comparison to the Zentorno in my opinion, it is leaps ahead in feel and look .. if you don't want to spend $2m, then don't buy it, but it has more to offer than the zentorno .. besides everyone hates the zentorno, that enough is probably a good reason to buy it.

One note, I upgraded it and then put a license plate on and it took my money and I had to pay for the updates again, I lost about $200-300K. Put a number plate on it before you upgrade it. Could be a glitch or maybe ifruit didn't update in time or anything.

Anyway very happy with my purchase and can highly recommend it.

ten-a-penny

OP can't see the REAL problem here. I knew it.

  1. They fix the most harmless bugs like wearing a duffle bag, leaving game-breaking issues like the cops glitch in The Prison Break poisoning their game.
  2. Crew colors are still messy.
  3. Lots of people lost their legit cars.
  4. Servers became even worse - back before at least I was able to play heists with my friends. Last week I couldn't even play with a GTAF friend without getting separated.
  5. The entire update is full of glitches.

Hmm. Prices for cars I can understand though.

Miss Malevolent

This update hasn't held my attention long, but I like your sentiment here.

I have the money to buy both the Swift and Luxor, but I already have a Swift and Luxor...so meh.

But I have had a renewed interest in making new outfits!
