Remind me: how do i drop 1 stickybomb ammo?

Can anyone remind me how do i drop JUST 1 sticky bomb as a pickable ammo? my friend wanted to destroy the target vehicle but he had no stickies, i tried dropping it with LB + Y but that ended up dropping all the stickies (i quickly picked them up btw), my friend RQed afterwards for me not dropping a bomb for him. Just in case i pass by a situation like this again, how do i drop just 1 sticky bomb ammo? i tried tons of key combos but none worked (I am on Xbox).

you got it right, must be glitched. You could create a quick deathmatch with only stickies and invite your friend.

I believe you press Y when selecting it in your weapon wheel

Yeah i'll just invite him to Denial of Service to get him some stickies.

Yes it could be this; for other weapons, pressing X (square) drops ammo and Y (triangle) drops the whole weapon.

I thought so too. Doesn't Y/triangle drop the weapon? I distinctly remember losing my homing launcher a while back due to pressing Y too quickly to get back in a vehicle.

I tried pressing LB + X to drop 1, but my character jumps instead.

i guess the best thing to do is do Denial of Service mission to get the bombs for him.
