Actually I have...on launch you had to wait if you requested your current PV again too quickly...it didn't matter whether it was through the phone or not. At some point they changed this. Now they have changed it back.

Yes. This very situation (PV blown up, request via interaction) happened numerous times very early on and I ALWAYS had to wait the second time around.

 

I have also played from launch but don't remember that ever from the interaction menu. If so my apologies.

 

The option to get your vehicle from interaction menu wasn't available at launch. At launch, you had to manually call the mechanic and whether it was your current vehicle or a completely new one, you had to wait 5 minutes between.

Yeah I noticed this almost immediately, its so annoying! Used to be very easy requesting the vehicle back, but the timer makes it long

It's just funny that they patch this game but only thinking from exploit side instead of seeing the bigger impact of said patch.

Ahh, that game called Grand Theft Auto, where finally, we're being told that we should be stealing more vehicles...

And get a bounty 90% of the f*cking time, instantly ruining my clean escape...

 

 

So in a game which is supposed to centre around the nature of stealing vehicles, and yet that's something else people are now complaining about!? If you want a truly clean escape (I assume that's in relation to other players attacking you), go in Passive Mode.

 

Also, you can reduce that anecdotal 90 percentage by a substantial amount by going into Passive Mode before stealing NPC vehicles. Bit like penny slot machines though with the luck - if it's time for you to get a bounty, then you'll get it, but you certainly seem to get bounties less often this way.

I don't know why you think that when you steal these vehicles, nine out of ten of them will give you a bounty. I mean it's less than 1 in 7 for me and that's not using Passive mode.

 

And besides - this game has been out for 18 months now. I don't know how long you've been playing this, but for me getting random bounties increases my enjoyment of the game, because it "gives me an extra thing to do" even though I don't need the money. The challenge of holding off threats or hiding where people have no idea how to get to me, often gives me an extra fun factor. Perhaps relish the change rather than being content with the boring-same old (not getting a bounty).

 

But still, it shouldn't have been changed. In fact, I want my mechanic actually delivering cars again and without a timer - who's idea was it to delay getting another car in the very first place? Mad.
