The mechanic is now completely f*cked. You can't request your PV 90% of the time without the stupid mechanic timer. Before you could request your vehicle after it being destroyed with no problems but no cockstar have implemented a timer. Prior to the update the timer would only occur if you called the mechanic for a different car but never if you requested your vehicle. Or is it just me?

Haven't played since the update long enough to notice, but yeah, that's pretty annoying. Maybe it's to stop people getting their Osiris blown up and then immediately calling it back again and again to drain their attacker's account?

 

Or maybe it's to encourage fighting in FM. If it's less easy to run away from your attacker after your car is blown up, then maybe you're more likely to end up in a drawn out fight?

 

Or maybe it was an accident. With R*, who knows!

 

Although I don't constantly call cars in from the mechanic, so I doubt it'll make much difference to me. How long is the timer, anyways?

Yeah,this update screwed up lots of stuff,it blacklisted some vehicles (Burrito,The Lost MC slamvan and a few more),removed the Charles+Ifruit paintjobs on Sovereigns,removed the face bandanas with custom hats and glasses (now we are forced to wear them with those retarded looking SWAG hats)...

That was actually implemented in the update before this - not this one. I know it because I use "Request Personal Vehicle" often. But yes - it's very annoying.

timer or not,the damage is done once the duping is succesful.

 

just like the car sales cooldown, you can stop me from selling all my dupes at once, i may not cash-in all the dupes multiple times in a day but the dupe are still there, sellable.

Nope, has been there for as long as I remember.

However, it used to only be like a minute or two and now it's five.

 

People keep coming up with ways to creatively exploit free money; Rockstar's going to keep coming up with ways to inconveience them as much as possible.

Where R* continues to fail is understanding that anything they introduce into the game (short- and long-term) is going to be analyzed to the max:

* Anything useful will be thoroughly overused.

* Glitches will be found and exploited beyond the ridiculous.

 

* Bugs will quickly be identified but might not be reported.

I personally prefer the new way, it makes the game more exciting imo as you do not know whether or not your vehicle will arrive. Good times.

..... you cereal? why should you (and others like you) have access to vehicles/clothing that are not available to all players? Have some god damn empathy. Do you break the rules when playing/competing in other activities?
