He constantly puts his life on the line for others.How is he repaid?..with betrayal more often than not. He saves hostages or rights an injustice only to find the employers are now trying to kill him.This happens alot.He is always being setup.This is nothing new to Tommy unfortunately.Remember the opening cutscene in GTA3?Leone?..it just goes on and on. And in the midst of all this betrayal and violence,he finds the time to put out fires,drive ambulances and remove terrible criminals from society.One of his hobbies is to pick up caches of drugs and weapons lest they be found by children.This is a tremendous service to society. So give Tommy a break.He is busting his ass to make Vice City a better place.Allready he has singlehandedly taken out the entire organized criminal element of Vice City.Not to mention the jobs and commerce he has created at his numerous businesses.He's got my vote for mayor. I believe he was referring to the cutscene at the beginning of Vice which takes place in Lberty City. I could be wrong but it happens so rarely I doubt it. Phil was hallucinating in the Patriot and he thought he was in Nicargua or something like that. That's why he says he lost it during war in GTA3. He was too pissed to notice he was in Vice City. He always has a good mentality when doing a job. Hey, everyone has to make a living and since his is to get Sonny's money back before he kills Tommy, he is forced to live like he does. Hell, he even talks about his father and following in his footsteps after getting the Printworks! He spoke about making an honest dollar by printing a paper or mag on the machines. Another good example is during the Cop Land mission. He doesn't kill, maim, or hurt in any way his crew member for messin up the job. He simply takes matters into his own hands to get "what needs to be done" done. I thought about this and said something to my friend about it before reading this post and didn't realize someone besides him agreed with me. If your version of Tommy fights for justice, so be it. Me, personally, I kill anyone that comes in my sight. Does that make him a bad guy even though he fights injustice? Yes, in my eyes.
