its super nice car to have, still kinda "excusive" as i have only seen like 5 osiris.

i own every relevant super and this one is awesome!

plus that insurance price make it the perfect car to drive in freeroam, specially if a tank or jet is around!

Thank god! The kiddies aren't going to get their grubby little hands on them for a while.

Read this short story.

I got into a battle with some dumbass who shot at my osiris last night. I was just cruisin minding my own biz. At the end the score was 33 to 8. He blew me up 7 times and got lucky with 1 jet kill when I was on foot. On my way home as I was was driving I got a msg. "Are you a modder can you give me some money" im rank 599 I respond "no I dont mod". Another msg "you cost me 200,000". My response "you gotta pay to play with the big boys homie lol" exit session loving my osiris even more : :-)

That was me btw and hell yes this car is worth every penny. Save for it.

  • 1250 Nm of combustion engine torque
  • 700 Hp of electric propulsion
  • 900 Nm of electric torque
  • 9 kWh 620 Volt, flooded liquid cooled battery pack
COMBINED NUMBERS

  • Over 2000 Nm of torque
  • Dry weight 1420 kg

Smooth Longsack

Most fun car in the game so far and i was a zentorno entity man.. however, the osiris doesn't offer as much bullet protection in pvp. The reverse trick still works against npc's in missions and such.

Anyway it is poorly moddled as it is just flat on the bottom. Seems more like some kind of modded car after I ve seen that. Thought they would have put more effort in that.

problem i have with it is that the back seems pretty bullet proof and this is one of those realy fast cars with what i call a speed for grieving

i dont want anything with such an insurance price being able to keep up with me when driving anything faster then my dinka jester sport being able to catch up with me, let alone seeing it turning back on me with a bullet proof or nearly bullet proof back

edit: also though i love supers, they are already populair enough

It's a $1m car for $2m.

Its $1.6m excluding tax IRL. Stop crying about it, as the car is worth up to about $2m.

Am I the only one who thinks this car doesn't feel that fast?

I know it is the fastest but when in freemode it just feels average at best I don't know why

Its funny because the first day i had it i was like seriously this car does not seem that fast at all. The next day i took it out and it had a totally different feel. Much faster wtih great handling. Probably just me though. As far as if its worth it. Thats up to the buyer. Is it a great super, yes, is it 2+ mil great. Im not so sure. That being said i had about 8 mil when i bought it and i do not regret it f

and then you have to deal with the countdown of such a bounty

also youre screwed if 2 people are driving in it and you target the wrong person

We Are Ninja

So to the ppl who bought it, is it worth it or should I invest my money into something else?

From another thread:

The Pegassi Osiris is a nice car, but it's NOT a Zentorno beater no matter what the numbers say. The Osiris is polygonal proof that numbers give a glimpse of the car's performance, but driving it hard gives you the full picture...

Let's get one thing straight... The Pegassi Osiris is NOT a supercar; no matter what class R* put it in. It's a grand tourer in a supercar's skin. It's elegant and refined and has a moderate, yet pleasing engine note. It's soft and comfy and impressively sure-footed. It's also wafty and it's movements are very... deliberate; it's reflexes are not razor sharp and it does't turn on anything even remotely resembling a dime. Find yourself assed-out mid-corner? Understeer City, baby. The car WILL oversteer, but it requires a specific technique, vaguely reminiscent of the Elegy. It feels quite powerful, but it's like it's being held back by the aerodynamics on par with a Patriot or a Dubsta. Overall, it simply doesn't "feel" quick.

That's not to say that it's a bad car. Not at all. I appreciate it's tenacious grip and the fact that oversteer isn't it's response to every situation. It really is nice AF, but this car should have come from Enus or Benefactor, not Pegassi.

TLDR:

Is it a good car? Yes

Is it a great car? Eh...

Is it worth $2M of your hard earned/glitched virtual money? Unless you have "YOLO" or "SWAG" in your gamer tag/PSNID, not on your life.

I only bought it 'cause I received $12.2M in glitched money, actually bought both the Zentorno and Osiris.

It's slightly faster than the Zentorno, it's unnoticeable (but don't tell that to the users here) and it's $1.25M more than the Zentorno. For that money, I'd buy the Zentorno and save.

This car is $700-950K overpriced.

Thanks for the answers guys.

I definitely want to buy the Osiris and I am thinking about selling my Z-Type since I cant find a color on it that doesnt bore me after 2 days and various reasons.

Dont want to sell my Adder because I really like to cruise around in it.

It's "OK". About in-line with the top tier of Supers with the Zentorno, Entity and Turismo. Nothing special really, sets similar lap times to those - close enough that slight driver skill differences would make more of a difference than the car.

I was thinking about getting it but now I'm not so sure. I see them quite a bit online and they're nice but I don't think I want to spend that much cash on it (even with the high insurance costs) because I already have the Adder and Zentorno and they do me just fine. I did think about selling both of them and getting the Osiris but I feel that the Osiris isn't worth Adder + Zentorno + extra cash. I'll probably see what part 2 brings and then make my decision, as they may add a different car that I want anyway! :)

Why does everyone go for the super cars? What's wrong with the sentinel, asterope, futo, dominator, or other sub par cars?

Out of 30 cars, I have one super..

though it is the Osiris.. and heck, it's fast...

then again, I usually rinse most supers in my Casco anyway.. :p

Not worth it.

Doubly so since there's an "Ill Gotten Gains" part 2 out there which very likely will one-up the Osirus somehow.

This ^^^^^^^^^^

At least we see a variety of rides in freeroam now, not just ghastly Zentornos.

If someone is being a douche, does the insurance cost put you off blowing them up?

I am curious as it has never bothered me in the slightest.

I don't have millions either, just don't care what the cost is to bring someone down.

who is with me on that??????

The Osiris is welcome as it adds variety but I haven't bought waiting to see what part 2 adds

For one, i have a collection of cars in all classes.

Two... for racing. It's boring racing at a snail trail pace, you want to go fast.

If racing isn't your thing, then don't buy supers, but leave everyone else alone. Many different people play this game for many multiple reasons and like other things more than others.

It's worth it if you think it's worth it!

Is it that much better than the Zentorno?

No.

But does it drive well, is it fun, does it look great?

Yes. Absolutely.

Vastly overpriced but fun and useful. Lord knows I wasted a million on a huge dumptruck I used exactly once so...

Buy it, have fun, don't look back.

For your last part in bold there...wrong is a pretty absolute statement, but if it's possible to be 'more wrong', you sir, take the cake and eat it all yourself.

So much 'ding-bat mentality' in that statement...😒

It's close enough to a Zentorno that you shouldn't bother for racing, but it sure can piss off free roam killers
