Save for the Osiris or not? (worth it?)

I was pretty shocked as I saw the 1.950.000 price tag for the Osiris.

I am currently doing jobs non-stop to get like 2450.000 to buy and fully upgrade that

car but my question is if its worth it. I mean I love the look and all but I mean performance-wise.

Already own a Zentorno and Adder so yea.

I'm a legit player (lv227 with 21m spent so far) so I dont have like 100m in the bank. (didnt do the criminal mastermind btw)

So to the ppl who bought it, is it worth it or should I invest my money into something else?

If you have a Zentorno and feel like you need the Osiris for racing, don't bother. I own it and a Zentorno but I still bought it cuz I have a metric f*ck ton o' money. I love the sound the car makes, the gull wing doors, the way it looks and handles. Its pretty much a pretty Zentorno. Too many people already own it so I don't feel as special as I did when I first bought it. So no its not worth it at all if you already have a Zentorno, but its nice to look at.

I have it. it handles great and feels a bit faster than zen. plus that 25k insurance when someone blows itup.

Unless you have an emotional attachment, consider selling the Adder. The Zentorno pretty much rendered it useless. That'll help, moneywise.

Osiris by FAR but I am a Pagani fanboy by default. I still drive my Zentornos and such but the Osiris with no spoiler fully tuned. Slide that ass around corners

Mmm.

I dont tend to drive Supers other than the odd race. I did have a Zen, just for the sake of having a super for races. However I actually like the look of the Osiris. It looks like someone older than 12 designed it and drives alright. I dont give 2 sh*t about car speeds etc but its seems just as quick as the Zen. For the first time since launch in 2013 I drove a Super in freeroam. Its such a nice looking car

I personally don't think it feels any faster than my entity and, if anything, I'm quicker in my entity because I'm used to it.

It is a looker though, so if you must have the "best" cars in the game, then it's a no brainer.

If you just want performance, buy an entity or turismo. In my opinion, of course.

If you're using it to race, you can keep your Zentorno unless you REALLY favor the Osiris' handling over the Zentorno's (ask a friend for a test drive). Broughy put it in the 1st place, but the difference he got between the two cars is way too minuscule to justify the cost.

For free roam combat, the Zentorno is better at fighting due to its bulletproof back, but the Osiris' hilariously high insurance premium might be a good deterrent against explosive-happy kiddies.

its super nice car to have, still kinda "excusive" as i have only seen like 5 osiris.

i own every relevant super and this one is awesome!

plus that insurance price make it the perfect car to drive in freeroam, specially if a tank or jet is around!

The first time someone dashboards or leaves the session because they noticed how expensive it is to be Michael Bey.....PRICELESS!

I have 13m, Zentorno, Adder & various other supers and sports, and after trying it out in story mode, I've decided not to get it, feels a bit cheap & under-detailed.

don't bother. WAY overpriced and honestly.. not all that special.

Take it for a test drive in Single Player.

I did and honestly i was kinda disappointed

Am I the only one who thinks this car doesn't feel that fast?

I know it is the fastest but when in freemode it just feels average at best I don't know why

I have not tried how fast it really is and honestly I think broughy is taking himself too seriously if he claims one car is faster than another just because he could achieve one 0.008s faster lap time. That's ridiculous. One dropped frame will do that difference.

That said, if anything this and other tests show that the cars are pretty much equal in terms of performance.

The difference is in handling. The Osiris handles like a brick IMHO, but other people will prefer that. What's obvious though is that everyone will have a preference between these two in terms of handling. I don't think many people will switch between these 2 regularly for races but will rather stick to one at all times.

Another thing is the spoiler. Osiris has no option for a decent small spoiler, only those GT monsters. If you don't like those spoilers, you're gonna have none and the racing performance suffers.

It's more than worth it, actually, the performance and looks are quite aweworthy.

The question is, do you want to spend day after day, night after night grinding for almost 2,000,000$?

Absolutely not worth the extremly high price, but it's the best super class car now. Would be worth if it costed 1 M less.

Buy the stirling and the windsor instead, you now have two beautiful cars for less money! (you already own a zentorno and its a matter of time before the osiris gets boring, trust me)

Just play the game modes, have fun and before long you will be swimming in cash.

People only turn this game into a grind because they have the instant gratification disease, and need everything, and need it naaaaoooowwwwww! ...😕

I bought it and I love it. However, this is the only Super I've owned as I'm more into Classics and Muscle Cars. I really just liked the way it looks but it's fast and fun to drive. Not a fan of the spoiler, but I like the other mods and you can make some pretty striking color schemes.

For whatever superficial tests I`ve run between the two, the Osiris feels more sluggish and less over-steery than the Zentorno. Also, it appears to have a better torque map, where it doesn`t tend to overspin as much. It does require precise braking, as it is really really under-steery at higher speeds.

I still like the Zentorno more, because it favors my style of driving - over-steer happy (or faster turn-in than the Osiris, or faster turn-in overall) and slightly better torque at low speeds, which allows me to over rev to move the back end of the car a bit.

Overall, for me, the Osiris feels... heavy and unresposive versus the Zentorno. A great car to use on precise driving on the racing line and braking points, but doesn`t suit me as much as the Zentorno.

Why do so many people sound like they take one over the other here? Even if the Osiris is faster than the Zentorno... so what? You can keep more than one car remember? Use them both. I race mostly with the Turismo, but now and then I feel like changing it up and ripping around in the Zentorno. Both have different handling and ways the break/handbreak/drift etc.. why not practice and race both? If you own 2 Supers, so what, buy an Osiris if you can... so you have 3 supers? Big deal! They all look nice side by side in the garage. Choose a favorite to race, and maybe if you just like the look of the other two, don't bother upgrading them full, just make them a show car?

Well, for the money there definitely are equally good (or better, matter of opinion) racing cars out there (zentorno, turismo)... So, for that purpose, no it's not worth it...

If you are into cars, cruising them around town or into the Pagani Huayra in general and you like the Osiris, definitely worth it! I love taking it out the garage and I really like the car. It is fast, turns really well and I like the look of it. I can use it for racing, it will be competitive, but probably won't since I will most likely use my zentorno or turismo.

This car for me is used to free roam and I really really really (can't emphasise enough) like this car! Awesome!!! So I think the choice is up to you? Choices: 1. Invest in this one as a race car and cruise it as a bonus, 2. invest in a totally awesome cruising car, or 3. skip this one because of its way too high price since you already have a zentorno...

The 25 band insurance fine for bad sport players, totally makes this car worth every single $GTA dollar... People hesitate to bomb you.

^^^Exactly. I have been playing this game a long time. Level 334, sitting on $39M at the moment. Wanna guess how many vehicles I own? 12. 13 if you count my Buzzard, which is the only Pegasus vehicle I own. I only buy things I know I will use a lot, for the most part I just play the game to have fun. Couldn't care less about all the expensive useless sh*t people grind and buy shark cards for.

Not worth it.

Doubly so since there's an "Ill Gotten Gains" part 2 out there which very likely will one-up the Osirus somehow.
