FlyingRat
I only skipped them when i wanted the trophy in which you have to complete the IV story under 30 hours
Journey_95
Wtf? Of course not I wouldn't replay the story if I wanted to skip the cutscenes, doesn't make much sense.
theGTAking101
I'll admit I did it on my very first playthrough, but ever since I got intrigued in the storyline I always watched them. Edited March 6, 2016 by theGTAking101
AmigaMix
I never did this in any GTA (exception: when I failed a mission three times in a row... ). The cutscenes are a major part of every GTA, in 4 they are especially well done (I think). look at this... for example. Algonquin Assassin
Fun fact. The day I got GTA IV during the opening on accident I hit the X button my on PS3 controller so it skipped the whole thing. I was so annoyed, but I started a new save immediately just to watch it. UshaB

Jabalous
Since the story is told through cutscenes, I don't see the point of anyone skipping them unless they're just interested in wasting time without any care in what's going on. So yeah, I don't skip them at all.
HoleInTheSky
Only if I fail a mission, or that one playthrough for the Liberty City Minute trophy. Otherwise, cutscenes tie everything together. Skipping them would make the entire game meaningless. People complained about IV's "go here, kill X, leave area" formula, but in context to the story - the cutscenes, Niko was a hired gun, of course his tasks would be repetitive (but in a good way). No mission felt out of place because there was motive behind each one. The Dedito Gae

Jeansowaty
I know all the IV cutscenes by heart though nowadays I usually skip them. I don't play through the storyline anymore too, I just replay missions for fun with the trainer. PhillBellic and theGTAking101
Ivellios
I only skip cutscenes when I've already seen them and I know what's going to happen. My sister always skips cutscenes, however, the reason behind it is quite understandable - her English is 'wasted'... theGTAking101 and Jeansowaty
American Viking
No, never. Regardless of how many times I played the game, I always watched the cutscenes. I would usually try to dress Niko differently for each cutscene too Algonquin Assassin

I would usually try to dress Niko differently for each cutscene too Hahaha same. I usually chanage his clothes every couple of missions or I'll make him wear the appropriate type of clothing for each contact. Like for example for Dwayne and PBX he wears clothes from Modo and working for Ray, Phil, The Peg etc he wears the suits from Perseus. And for cutscenes that take place outside ( like clean getaway) I make Niko wear a hat and sunglasses. I'm pretty OCD about what clothes Niko wears to certain missions. Jacek_K
I've never skipped any cutscenes in GTA games! And I hate to see my friends or my younger brother skip everything just to get the gameplay quicker. Only when I die a few times playing the same mission, I skip long cutscenes because I just saw them like 2 mins ago lol
