Do you skip the cutscenes?

After playing through IV for the 15th time, I don't watch all the cutscenes except for maybe 4 or 5 of them. The only ones I do watch are the opening and when Niko and Roman arrive at the apartment for the first time.

When Niko has to hand over the coke to Michelle, the bank hold up during TLC, when Niko finally meets 'that special someone' and the final credits.

No, never skipped any of the cutscenes. Although I know them inside out, they add much immersion for me.

Why would I skip the cutscenes ? I completed the game like 10 times now , but every time I start a new game it feels like I've never completed the game before . GTA IV is one of the games with the best stories.

The only GTA that the cutscenes i never skipped was GTA IV , because each cutscene in every missions add so much immersion.

I've never skipped any cutscene in GTA IV and I'm not planning to do it even after 50th time. What would be the point if they are very well made and add a lot to the game itself?

Only if I've failed a mission and decide to do it later on I don't watch, but with each playthrough I always watch them.

I always watch the cutscenes, except when I am using Mods on my PC Version. :)

I always watch the cutscenes. I never skip cutscenes in video games. I even not skipped MGS4's two hour ending cutscene.

There are definitely times in the long campaign when I am not in the mood watching them so I'd skip to save the time.

I dont care if you've played IV 20 times. If you skip the cutscenes then you havent truly experienced GTA IV.

I skip all cutscenes for all GTA's. When I am bored, I view the Missions on Youtube for the dialog. I am not sure if cutscenes are included in "Total Playing Time" Stat, but just in case, I cut the playing time down as much as possible. In past 3D Era GTA's the higher your playing time, the worse the Traffic gets. There is crazy Traffic Glitches in SA, for instance when you reach 100+ Total Playing Time Hours.

But yeah, I skip them all for every GTA.

Oh and I should add that I NEVER take a Taxi. Yeah, I know, it's funny, cuz I skip all cutscenes to cut down time, yet, I don't take any Taxi's to cut down time. How is one supposed to learn the map if you take a Taxi everywhere? So yeah, I drive EVERYWHERE, or fly. But never do I take a Taxi. Not in IV, TLaD, TBoGT, CW, or V...

Cut-scenes are great :) I skip them when I redo a mission after failing them , but If I skip all of them all the time , the space that the cutscenes are carrying , will be waste.

For every GTA, I watch all the cutscenes, no matter how many times I have finished them. Besides, why would you want to skip them? They add to the story and even feel like a movie sometimes. That's just me though.

The cutscenes are the best part of the game. Not just IV but most GTAs.

Well, I am not, as it's all on Youtube. Like someone said above, it's like a movie. When I am gaming, I am gaming. I don't feel like watching a Movie. When I am lazy on the PC and want to look into things on Youtube, that is when I see them, for all GTA's...

NEVAR! (unless I'm repeating some mission I failed earlier or something similar)

If anything I sometimes watch cutscenes again and again, especially in Vice City & GTA V :)

I might actually know 90% of the dialogue in GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas.

I've watched all the cutscenes so many times that I basically know every single line in the game. Hence why I play that line game with SuperGTfan.

I always watch every cutscene in every game. Cutscenes are the real deal. They're telling the story, after all. I once skipped some and it felt very awkward.

You just kick back and relax for some time, feels good. And the funny scenes are totally worth it.

Never, I only skip cutscenes if I failed that mission. Or I forgot to save before turning off the Xbox.
