In terms of top speed, z-type. Around tight tracks with lots of turns though, I would have to say pigalle or casco.

You are missing some sports classics from that poll op. Just saying.

Why is this a debate/poll when there are facts/stats

The stats in the game lie. You should know that by now.

Blind and Mute

Out of those choices it's the Z-Type.

The Stirling is faster though.

The Stirling GT feels awesome, in free-roam as well as in Sports Classic races. The video displays a more professional opinion than mine.

I guess with "Feltzer Classic" you are referring to the Stirling GT, since it's probably the "FELTZER3" in the game files? (vehicles.meta/handling.meta)

In addition i agree, that the Pigalle must be considered in the Sports Classic category, due to its great handling, acceleration and traction.

For tracks with long straights i did prefer the Z-Type, for curvy courses the Pigalle. Now i'll probably stick with the Stirling GT for everything.

That, if you can't afford either a Pigalle could be ok but either car will destroy it in full modded car races

Ztype is the fastest.

Stirling GT is the quickest.

Broughy reckons the Osiris is the fastest Super? I know his track heavily favours the type of high traction cars he likes but gees.. I bet that wont stack up on the lap records of most tracks. I'll be keeping an eye on the records.

What's a feltzer classic?

Stirling GT Beta Name. Sounds Catchier so I say it like that.

I put up the fastest ones I know up for debate. Because, lets face it. If I put A Manana on the poll, no one will vote on it because it's slow as ****.

The fact that people voted for the stinger gt and the roosevelt clearly shows some people have no idea on how to feel how a car drives

Also the op somehow forgot the pigalle.

This tread realy sucks

The Z-Type is the fastest Sports Classic and car over a long stretch of road

The Feltzer Classic is the fastest in a track with tons of turns

Ive seen this many times too.

Im still very confused on how its the fastest.

I have seen laptimes caparisons and yes, the stirling is the fastest (many sources have said this)

However, the casco has better accel and top speed. I currently have both and I like the casco's handling a lot more too.

So how is it the stirling is getting those times?

I accept the stirling is faster but Im very confused as to how...

I figure its due to the superior braking, stopping to take turns with a casco requires you to slow down earlier I guess

The vehicle have low stats but that's why it's better.

It doesn't need time to use it's full power or to reach it's full power.

As soon as you start you will be using the full power for Stirling GT.

Casco, Ztype will beat it in a straight line.

It's quicker but not faster.

Meh, someone had said that Broughy doesn't even do a good number of laps (for me I'd be looking at 10+) and take the average from them all, so best is what feels right to you.

Quickest or fastest again depends on your driving, but the game's files can't be argued with really. Pigalle's brakes are actually better than the Stirling's, but the Stirling is better than the Casco. Interestingly the brakes are better on the Z-Type than the Casco, as less Mass and Drag so in theory should be much quicker.

Me and my budy raced sirling gt vs corquette classic. Full modded. Raced on airport runway. Low to mid stirling in front. Top end corquette comes around and wins by car, keeps pulling away with more road.

Pigalle... Coquette Classic.. Casco..Monroe are far from slow.

In the right hands.. on the right track. Sports Classic is probably the most balanced car class for racing.

Game files show that the XF has higher drag than the Casco when in fact both cars have the same top speed.

feltzer classic is not that much of a mistake bc in game files the stirling is called feltzer3.

Problem with these videos, and comparisons is; you never take corners at exactly the same time, you never brake for as long as before. Which is why races have laps, many of them. So comparisons will never really tell you how fast a car is. It also depends on the driver, and how much they push hard on the track. So if the Feltzer3 is fast for that person, it won't be fast for everyone else. It also depends how many flat straights the track has, and how many hairpins (majority of races don't have a lot of hairpins).

If a race like Route 68, the Z-Type will beat every sport classics car. If a track like Cutting Coroners, where there's quite a few flat straights, the Z-Type may perform much better, but this depends on the driver as they may be confident and push hard every corner along with using the whole track. Then also take into account that if catchup and slipstream are on, if they are. Stock cars can beat a custom, if the driver is skilled enough.
