Crate drop in 5 hours with 10 people in my lobby. Let's hope more get lagged out or it spawns near me.

You don't need a lag switch. Just pull the catV out the back of the console and then reinsert.

 

ETA- i hasn't thought of intentionally lagging out of a lobby to get these creates. That's brilliant.

I got Perseus and La Crew now. Somebody was trying to act like they weren't in a jet so I went off radar and killed them, then killed a Merryweather pilot to insure I got the second one.

This gives you an error message saying your ethernet cable is not connected and signs you out of psn iirc.

Managed to pick up one crate and it was the santa crapa! Glad to see they're all dropping as I wont be able to play this weekend, so gotta hope I get the other 3 by the end of today

You can get crates in private lobbies (at least Invite-only). After 50% success rate in public ones I hosted an IO session with friends and we took turns collecting them. A lot of Simeon Vehicles, Gerald target cars, armored trucks, and smuggling aircraft had to die between crates.

I got all four shirts (out of 5 crates because it failed to save the first one).

The question remains: will the other shirts be available tomorrow?

I think they may well be doing it so that it is four crates in order to stop people whining they didn't get one...

I am loving the fact all events are spawning more, Most people don't know they have to go for the crates to appear nor do they seem to care for them. Shot down 1 smuggler, distracted cops 4 times, destroyed one Gerald vehicle, and bagged about 30k from Simeon.

 

I hope I can get the other two today, at least the Santa Crapa one

Got 6 crates, 4 for the t-shirts, 1 because I lost one t-shirt (damn R* servers) and one to see if they didn't appear after I got them all

 

Pretty funny and easy imo. Had to take down lots of Hydra and Choppers but my Buzzard Attack never fails

 

Btw, 1 thing I saw is that there are a lot of crates not dropping/not appearing for some people (me in some cases).

 

Well, at least they improved the drop system.

Once the crate drop message appears, is it safe to assume that it will drop even if you lag out? Weird thing is I just joined a lobby with only 1 other person and the special crate in 10 hours message appeared.

This works for me but it might be the sugar pill effect

Turn on lag go in your garage go out and back in for me usually kicks everyone out

It isn't cheating, it is giving more people the chance to get a crate. It doesn't affect anyone.

It isn't cheating, it is giving more people the chance to get a crate. It doesn't affect anyone.yeah if anything it adds to the crates.

 

I work and study for college finals i dont have all day fighting jet griefers for special crates.

I got 2 crates so far (legit, you whining fa**ot). Seems like R* liked to troll me by spawning 3 of them in a row in the ports.
