Crate Drops this weekend

Are they still dropping?

Just logged in and event prompt still shows along with 2X RP banners for races.

Still dropping.

 

One dropped a few minutes ago, unfortunately it was dead in the city where 26 other people were, so my chances were slim to none getting it.

K thank u both. Just got done with PS so hopping back in freemode.

12/12 so far but still need to hook up one more toon.

That is weird, because I was recently in a lobby for over a hour and a half and not one dropped.

The asshole shirt was removed. That is for doing all of the elite challenges in heists.

Same thing was happening for me at the time of my post.

In a qualifying lobby now so I'll report back in a sec if notification pops.

 

*UPDATE*

So yeah first lobby I hit spawn in at Sandy Shores.

Immediately check map for distraction circle or red planes/helis/cars but don't see anything.

Close map and out of corner of my eye see green question mark icon on mini map.

Reopen map and sure enough there's a crate on the ground by the casino.

Hop skip and jump in the Hydra and quick Fake Perseus tee.

Still dropping.. Got one this morning not that I needed it.. Then had a pair of tards spent hell knows how much on mercs and robbers on me when they failed to get it.. :D

Crates are still dropping, I just picked one up a few minutes ago. I collected all the shirts already and the lobby was empty, so I figured why not? If you've already collected all the shirts and pick up a special crate, you receive the normal stuff, but without any of the shirts.

Actually starting a gang attack request a new tunables !

If a gang attack request a new tunables then I can see it happening to freemode events !

Just got one two minutes ago. Looking forward to the next crate drop event. It's always interesting. Hopefully they'll re-release some items people missed out on.

Til when should have the crates been going?

 

I guess it's about 2 hours still. If it's full 72 hour long event. If I remember correctly at what time it started on Friday.

 

I'm still going for the last freemode events, I hope it doesn't stop yet... :)

If you got a shirt but it's not in your Special Tops category, check a clothes store. 1 of my shirts I had to 'buy' (free) whereas the other 3 appeared in my inventory themselves.

 

PS to unlock the 'R* Verified' top you had about 4-6 months to kill a single players using a MG or Gusenberg. It's not exactly rare. I think I have the Happiness Is... tee on my 'rare' outfit because it's only dropped for 24h, once?

I wouldn't consider Happiness Is to really rare. When it first came out there was a glitch to get it and all the beerhats without getting crates.
