Run Down That Guy
Tried it, it loads up, but no land or anything is visible, just ocean. there is collision over part of the map, but nothing is visible for me at all. I have the Vice City conversion working, but I really want to try this one out. Edit:: also, on the latest FiveM, to use the level load, its "invoke-levelload X" -- your guide says levelloader, which confused me for a bit xD Edit 2: Got it working -- found out my update.rpf was read-only for some reason.. Odd as I do a lot of modding :\ Anyway, looks great so far!!! Question, have you tried using the textures & models from the Xbox version of GTA III? I remember the Xbox version having slightly higher resolution on a lot of textures, and even a few higher poly models here and there. Long time ago I converted with some friends the entirety of GTA 3 for xbox to pc, long before all these other xbox mods for pc GTA 3. We even got the static shadow map from the Xbox version of GTA 3 onto the PC version (after TONS of work) - we also managed to get the reflections working on the PC ver before the hooks were released; sadly, I left for school and the project died out. Anyway, if your interested, I sent you a message. Obviously, the static shadow map isnt neccesary with GTA V But the other stuff might be able to help out. Did you convert the IPL directly from gta 3 xbox? It could be different model names

Did you convert the IPL directly from gta 3 xbox? It could be different model names No, it was a pain staking process. We used notepad to go through and match all the model names from the PC version -- it actually worked better than just converting the IPL's themselves, as that caused some missing roads, signs and trees sometimes. It was tough but we did it. There is also an option to rename the models to match that of the IPL/PC version. Either way, its work, but it's worth it. You know you could simply use the already-made GTA 3 Xbox mod for PC as a base of example, or ask to use his work, as he already matched everything up. BTW: @indirivacua - The reason your maps were moved like that as the Xbox version had a slightly different offset for the coords. Easy fix, back then we would just use moo-mapper to move the entire map You could theoretically use moo-mapper (if you can still find a copy) to move the map to its correct state; then go from there, correct any model name mismatches in the IPLs (I think there are only a few hundred... thousand ..xD jk, like 850 if my memory serves. Most are dupes, so find & replace works fine or a simple script) EDIT: Going back over my old work, I think it was only the street lights and props that actually were not placed correctly, thats what we used moomapper for :\ Since your using something already converted that would be too difficult, I'll work on it.
