Such a relief. I can remove the vents on the hood AND have a primary hood. Stock just looks like trash.

My god. I always loved this car, but now not only is much faster than it already was, it also handles and brakes much better (unlike some of the HSW upgrades for older cars like the Sentinel XS and Banshee). This and the Hao Turismo Classic are much better upgrades. The mods and liveries are A1 too, it seems like the person/team who did the Hermes, Gauntlet Classic and other very well made muscles/classics had a hand in this upgrade. Some people don't  like how close the newer cars are to their inspirations but I for one love it, Rockstar needs to keep and give a raise to the vehicle design department, they've been absolutely killing it and listening closely to player feedback and suggestions. I'm going to write a feedback ticket and tell them as much.

El Cavilldo

Lime Granita color for that 'retro with style' look.

Rockstar made the same mistake they did with the unarmored kuruma. It´s completly bulletproof.

It's true, it doesn't even look damaged by shots and crashes!

Now we'll do missions with style.

And it's also so tough that it can thud players away with ease!

This is my Stirling GT after a gang termination at the hotel in SS, numerous intentional rear-endings, and a not so intentional head on high-speed collision with an unmovable object.

I was shot up on all sides, circled the hotel buildings and took shotgun blasts from behind with no loss in armor, and not a single bullethole in the car.   There are no angle limitations like the armored Kuruma.  You can shoot behind, behind and up to the left or right with ease.  You can use explosives in it though I haven't seen if the exposed hand through the shatterproof window can take damage.  I took no armor loss until that immovable object.  This Criminal Enterprises rendition of the Stirling GT is about the best invite only car I could want.  It still has nothing on explosives but I don't mind.  I'll see my Kuruma in December.

This picture is me discussing the above mentioned revelations with some of the local enthusiasts.

This thing isn't getting the proper attention it should.  It's not just a bulletproof change.  After returning to contacts this week I found this car has changed NPC behavior toward it.  If you wait as I do and allow them to exit their vehicles, the enemy NPC's will charge at you one at a time until they're all gone right before you.  This makes for a very convenient loot grab and ammo pickup.

This would never happen in the Kuruma.  I'd have to ram them out of their cover or wait for a head to pop up.  I have noticed this with police npc's as well in freeroam testing.  In the Vanilla Unicorn recover valuables mission I had 3 or 4 enemy npc's actually exit the club to charge at me, one at a time.   I am usually going in at that point but if you linger, they will come.  In the contact No Smoking that fence gate is a swinging immovable object in this car meaning if you hit the fence gates and they swing back before you clear them, it will stop you yet any other car the gates simply fall down on impact.  I haven't figured that one out yet.  If anything, these changes have added new enjoyment to old contact missions.

Yep, it's perfect for the Lamar missions. No health lost at all due to the bulletproof windows. A great way to rack up RP.

A very short clip to show the NPC behavior.  Be patient, I like things done with a headshot.  There is a rare time in the clip I do lose armor but for the sake of the video I'm allowing them to come up on me to prove a point of unique NPC behavior toward the car.  This car is solid and I can do full sessions with no armor lose.  It's solid as the previously posted video from Arrows to Athens above shows.

The BP bug is cool and all, but I'm more amazed by the HSW version. It feels so fast and fun to drive, and it was already one of the more unique feeling cars IMO. I would love to see most if not all vehicles get an HSW upgrade. They take some getting used to but they're just so much fun and so many older cars could benefit from the buff (Turismo R and GP1 I'm looking at you!)

I'm pretty amazed that they added the new mods for older cars, it can't be much of a revenue generator. Maybe there was a spike in the player base when they added them last time for the Kuruma, Futo and Penumbra?

Nice to see a completely BP car that looks slick and stylish to use in heists, contact missions and all other missions. The Armored Kuruma looks damn ugly, it's like one big turd on wheels with ugly sounds.
