knowing r* they might remove the cop,garbage man\gal outfits as well as the duffle bag.

 

also they are going to remove the dod and slamvan as evidenced in the pc update last month.

Is this yet another speculative topic, or do you have some evidence (even anecdotal) to support your theories?

It'll also be the Slamvan 2 (Lost model) that's removed, not the normal one.

better be safe than sorry for the outfits.

 

I remember a few pc players lost it after the last update.

Mind you, to go with my rank, I've already had several people report me as a cheater just for driving it around people. Guess I could get my ban tomorrow! Ha.

got my Cop Outfit w/ Black Duffel Bag equipped and ready! :)

 

I'd be of the opinion that if it's equipped, it's more likely to disappear?

 

Or leave you invisible with a visible head...

All rockstar has to do is force a character change menu on everyone with default clothes, bam lost all outfits.

I don't think they can remove the outfits. They are located at the clothing store in the code, but are hidden. You would be in the heist set ups or adversary mode with the checkerboard outfits.

They didn't really remove the festive clothes. I was still able to wear the elf outfit after heists released but by that point I got bored of it and replaced it with the new outfits. As long as you didn't change your outfit, playing a job and then returning to free roam would remove the default clothes they stuck you with and put you back in the festive clothing. The clothing would stay until you exited online, at which point you'd have to do another job to "change" back into your festive attire. (I wasn't able to get it so save as an outfit though. The bug stopped after changing and the default clothing was saved as the outfit instead. Even though I was currently visible in the elf costume when I saved the outfit.)

They probably have a way of blacklisting clothing, much like they do with vehicles. It would still be there during missions, but your saved outfit would appear as a default clothing selection, much like the default clothing after the festive update.

Yeah i put the stock cop outfit on in case they wipe the saved outfits. That way I can resave it/remod it if they do. I don't care as much about my jacket hood up w/o mask or BP helmet w/ gas mask mods but 4 of my 10 saved outfits started with the cop uniform w/ hat and gun belt.
